** If the side judge must be removed, the back judge and field judge will split the deepfield into two. If the field judge is removed, the back judge will be in charge of the whole deepfield. If the side judge is removed, the play clock duties will be given to the field judge. If the field judge gets removed, the play clock duties will be passed onto the umpire. If the main clock operator (line judge) gets removed, the scoreboard duties will be given to the head linesman. There must always be five referees on hand unless some cannot show up. ** |
