[TRA]: A change in leadership & other changes for the better

Dear all members of TRA and people of the C&G forum, Yesterday, Saturday, I reclaimed TRA back off KingconXII during an Officer Meeting. [----------------] I felt TRA needed change, and I felt King was too conservative to lead such change. King also had his differences with the High Command and other members in TRA which I felt wasn't satisfactory either. However I honour and respect the 9 months in which KingconXII served as the Commander of TRA, and I am sure many others are too. So, Former Commander KingconXII, thanks. TRA needs to change. It needed a better fort in the interim betweenthe broken rana and the incomplete D3 project (Darox 3), so the High Command and myself held a vote on the forums yesterday to get Normandy back. It was an overwhelming positive reply. However, change is not just done with a different fort. We needed to change the structure of TRA to give more people more opportunities, and we need to restore people's faith in the High Command and how we run. [----------------] 1.) The Robloxian Army Council http://www.roblox.com/My/Groups.aspx?gid=2585299 This is designed to act like the backup leadership of the group if the Commander was unavailable due to random circumstances, so that TRA can still function while only one person, the Commander, is unavailable. When KingconXII was in charge, during the TRA/UCR vs. SF/VS war, he was unavailable when we had to restart and pause the war, which was very inconvenient for all parties involved, made the High Command look incapable and nearly lost UCR as an ally. I felt although we lost that war, lots of TRA members also lost faith in who was in charge of them and the rest of the community. Therefore, the Council is to not let that ever happen again. Comprised of the Heads of Departments, the Council is chaired by me, but when I'm unavailable, it will be chaired by the Vice Chairman of the Council, ClanNotGuilds. It will act with the High Command to work with them and organise TRA while I am away, or any other Commander. The Council comprises of: - Chairman DrDrRoblox, Commander of TRA - Vice Chairman ClanNotGuilds, Head of Training - Council Member TAC69, Head of Officers - Council Member Sandiamond, Head of Military Police - Council Member GravityTyphoon, Head of Elites - Council Member Mcmartion, Head of Developers [----------------] 2.) Marshal Rank Added Some may know that a new rank has been added between Major and Colonel to replace the old, dated and pointless role of the MPs which was to serve as a rank between Major and Colonel. In order to free up the division for better things and to give more opportunities to TRA, the rank of Marshal will be only gained by Majors and will serve how the MP division used to be. The Marshal rank will have admin at the fort, be able to delete posts on the main group wall and will have the same administrative powers on our TS3 server as the old MP group permission. Marshal is an Officer rank, yet of the highest in the actual Officer division. To get Colonel, you now must go through Marshal, this new rank in the group. All Marshals need to wear the Officer uniform from now on, yet that's very similar to the MP uniform. Congratulate our new Marshals: - MenacingBEEP - Hacted - Lilbrees - Gigazicious - eROMO - JunkLover - Contouri - UAVisOnline - Dragonflame37 - Cirivio [----------------] 3.) The Military Police Division and it's Reform The Military Police division, one of the oldest and most famed divisions of TRA, has had it's largest change in history as the whole role and purpose of the division for the main group is completely altered. Instead of acting as a way to get High Rank, it will now serve as an intelligence gathering division for both internal and external matters, and will also function as a court of law for the group now, to allow fair trials to take place in TRA, similar to that of the old nostalgic trials done by the TRA Court division, now disbanded. Instead of this being Major-Only, the Military Police division would be open to all Officers, however to enter you must be invited by Sandiamond, the new Head of the MPs. This is now an alternate line of work to the main group, and to the Elites. Only the most loyal and most trustworthy can join this, in contrast to the Elites being for the most skilled. [----------------] 4.) Change of Heads in TRA TAC69, the former Lead General in the group, will now become the Head of Officers, after I relinquished it to become Commander, and he will be in charge of Captains, Majors and the new Marshals. It is a very powerful role in the group now, being in charge of 3 key ranks for the main group. Sandiamond, will now take TAC69's old role as Head of Military Police, to head the reforms and changes that the military police will now have. Finally, to all the MPs who did not survive the reform, no worries! There will soon be plenty more opportunities for you such as getting Marshal in the future or even being able to join the future MP division! [----------------] 5.) Officer Promotions Well done to antonio4366 and Emndaka for Captain! Well done to pth159, beastdeadman123, princessemra, xXHellgate25Xx, spinort100 and CaptObvious12's promotions to Major! [----------------] 6.) Darox 3 (known as D3 project) We hope to release Darox 3 as soon as possible for all TRA and non-TRA to enjoy! It is very similar to Darox 1, however far more fair with better updated technology that is dissimilar to any technology for our forts that we've ever seen before. I thank all the developers involved in the project for their efforts so far, and I am with TRA in our excitement for what is to come! [----------------] 7.) External Affairs and Allied Relations TRA has just allied with Soticule Forces, the true victor in the war we had some weeks ago under KingconXII's leadership. We also intend to ally other clans, however we won't be revealing who until an answer is met, whether positive or negative to the idea of an alliance. TRA is not interested in warfare with other groups for now, because it is in our best interest to focus and adapt to the huge changes that have happened in the group for now, with many changes yet to come. [----------------] Finally, to sum up, these are some of the largest changes to have ever in TRA in such a short amount of time and I am so fortunate to work with the very best in TRA to improve TRA day by day. All of this was planned over some time, yet a move has only now been made due to personal reasons which freed me up for the summer. Hopefully, TRA are now free for KingconXII's era too, one in which little change would have happened due to the focus on stability and conservative views rather than change. This looks very thought out. Interesting changes. I suspect the new MP division will require much presence from Sandiamond to succeed. The court was a mess. Thanks to Kingcon for his work, and best of luck to you DrDrRoblox in bringing the group forward.
