It would open a lot of doors into making GUI's look cool. |

Moderators will have to strictly look at each frame. GIFs will bring an advantage to game developers, as the GUIs will draw players in. |

Half-support.
GIFs would be great to have in games and pretty much everyone would want them, I'd think, but moderation and lag issues have to be considered. Since GIFs can be videos with many different frames, each frame has to be carefully analysed - which, if you upload a 10-frame GIF, is like moderating 10 decals for one object. Moreover, though I'm not heavily educated in the subject, I'd assume that having moving 2D images rendered on 3D objects would cause lag problems.
I'll give my support all the way up to those points.

Lag would be an issue, but if all GIFs were cashed during loading, it would be easier, but they can't be added by scripts ect to stop lag. It will increase loading times with GIF-Heavy games however. |

There has to be a frame cap to prevent too much you-know-what.
BC should be 15.
TBC should be 25.
OBC should be 45.
Lag would be a problem, but I see how this could work. |

Scriptable/buildable plus there needs to be a lot of moderation per each frame of the gif no support.
I'm in your forum, stealing your ideas. |

Full support. The moderation can't be any harder than standard decal approval, and the lag won't be too bad. It will reduce lag because you just upload a gif into a place instead of scripting 15 decals to change every second |

And anyway, 15 decals changing every second gets flickery, I've tried. |

Support, I suggested this on another thread.

It would be a real pain in the butt to moderate, but it would be interesting. |

75% support
i've seen a gif before and it was scripted.
plus, it'd be a lot of work for the admins
i still support, though.

Most GIFs are low res and very cutty. Besides, it would take more moderation to do it and moderating something useful like Decals and Audio would take forever.
No support. |

Roblox will get more players because of the amazing looking new GUIs, yes, rotation can make a spinning circle, but it will be at the benefit of roblox (roblox is greedy, they have sponsors being added to the list every second) if its BC Only. |

The images in each frame should be just as low-quality as the decals in ROBLOX so they would be easier to moderate. |
