The New Black Panther party is a racist group, the original Black Panther reaaallllyyy isn't sorta.
The Black Panther party was a group that fought (through any means necessary) for the involvement of African Americans in society, and to have an active role in society.
There were members who were fueled by Black Nationalism and race, but the ideology of the party itself is NOT racist.

1) The Confederate flag is basically celebrating the slavery of black people and white supremacy in general.
2) The DC snipers were not race motivated whatsoever. There's been a few theories of their motives but none involve race.
3) The Black Panther Party was not actually racist. The New Black Panther Party is, but they aren't connected to each other.
