Legalization of Skype Evidence

Website District, June 26, 2015 — Today, the Website District U.S. Attorney's Office is formally announcing that evidence referencing Skype conversations is once again viable for the federal court system. Cases will not be denied on terms of “lack of evidence” under the circumstances of the only evidence being a Skype Conversation.
What is the reason for the legalization and the recognition by the Website District U.S. Attorney's Office?
In truth, Skype evidence has been legal since February 24, 2015 at 3:52 PM PST. The LORDAC Act (Clarity Act) passed the Houses of Congress and was signed into law by the President at that time. The LORDAC Act stated that any act not documented in the official Congressional Records;

is null and void. There is no act documented there preventing the use of Skype evidence, therefore, the Website U.S. Attorney's Office will now officially recognize that form of evidence.

I want an immediate investigation on KOTwarrior of possible bribery by Synapsic.
Not only that, but he can't even read. The LORDAC didn't promote Skype as evidence at all. It also states that laws that are not well known are null and void and thus the case against me is NULL AND VOID. Thank you! |

The Skype Evidence prohibition was not documented in the way asked for by the LORDAC Act; therefore it's void until Congress brings a vote to it again.
Also, cases that originated during the time of illegality may not be brought to court (ex post facto). Your case may not use Skype evidence still. :)

There actually is, KnowDaGame probably knows which case it was, but I am pretty sure it was a Common Law type of case, if not Supreme Court. |

No cases other than USA v. FPIA which determined Common Law that completed either.

Go ahead and "investigate" me Marcus.
A search warrant will only obtain what I just put out into the public domain. Want to subpoena my Skype logs? That can only be used if my ruling stands, but once again, I'll release that to the public domain (with Synapsic's consent).
Marcus, this ruling doesn't make a difference in your case, as I've already explained.
Ex post facto protects you from the Skype evidence being used in your case.
Anyways, go ahead and investigate me Marcus, see what you find: nothing. |
