I will agree with TurboMonkey that the post count will only result in "forumers" rage-posting to inflate their post count, and gain some false sense of authority due to the high number. What I'm bringing to the table is "post points." Similar to karma on reddit, you gain post points by being "upvoted" by other forumers. -you cannot upvote yourself -in order to upvote another forumer, you must be a participant in the forum thread (this will counter people creating alts to upvote themselves) -a new top forumer badge should be introduced in relation to post points (0-25 newbie, 26-50 regular poster, etc) -controversial topics which accumulate a large number of post points can be highlighted on the main forum page -to be eligible for post points, you must meet a character number requirement. this is just a suggestion--I haven't thought this through all of the way. support?

The general idea sounds good, but there would have to be some tweaks so that it doesn't get taken advantage of.

yes please... -maybe it could be possible that top forumers would have higher vote power such as the top 10 forumers have their votes count as 10 votes or something else. Newgrounds has a similar program and it works pretty well.
