So basically you see a AD, and it says "Amazing Murder game" or something in that matter. You click on it, you get a stupid "Mall Tycoon" game. That is false advertisement and should be stopped; but sadly ROBLOX does not care about the obnoxious sight of lets say. "Hey you can't click this button seventy times before it changes." and takes you to a dumb; Free Model sword fighting game. (Cri cri)
-[AD's and how ROBLOX (Supposedly should/could handle them)]-
.1 Make a category selection, keeping the AD's in order for; Tycoon Game AD's, F.P.S. AD's, Role-playing AD's, etc.
.2 They have a monitor system for when/if they click on so said AD it takes them to a irrelevant game... and poof its deleted.
3. Maybe make a Template for the category of types of different games. So when they fill in the spaces and send it to be looked at and revised (if needed).
4. This goes with #3, but eh' such templates would be for beginner AD makers.

Majority of AD's are irrelevant; and should be stopped. I hope I have some support. I will ignore pure flame and hate; but will listen to opinions. I only wish for actual ROBLOX Mods to see this forum.

Yes, people need to be much more mature with ROBLOX's ad space. You don't see Verizon ads that lead to Starbucks links in the real world. ROBLOX players need to step it up. |

If you expect to see a murder game but see a mall tycoon, then don't play the game. The creator won't get any money. If you want a murder game, there's a search bar. No need to rely on ads to find one. |

I believe the word you're thinking of is "misleading" not irrelevant. If a ad leads to www.roblox.com, it is, by definition, relevant.
Also, a number of Admins have addressed this beforehand. They admit, while it is annoying, people have the freedom to make ads however they like so long as they are appropriate and correspond to the ROBLOX Rules and Conditions.
As much as I wish it could be fixed, nothing can be done.

Though I agree that it's easy to just ignore ads that you know are misleading, it does need to be dealt with. In the real world, false advertising is illegal and practicing it on Roblox isn't going to build good habits for the future. Roblox prides itself on being educational and for making its users ready for adult life, so this is something that will need to be fixed to uphold its reputation.
And of course it's annoying to see these silly ads in the corner of your eye that you know are wrong or copied.
