this is the only fit for him. maybe the Clippers, but they can't offer near as much money. Rockets can just give him the MLE which is way more than LA. should be a no brainer for him. |

Josh Smith was one of the worst starters in the league in Detroit. he was the Rockets' 3rd best player this season. maybe 4th.
he played SF in Detroit, PF/c in Houston. PF is his natural position. he took less 3's and made a much higher percentage of his 3's and 2's in Houston.
he's not a star, he is a very very good role player and he fits great with Houston. he wasn't a star in Detroit either, and didn't fit good. |

I said he played center often. that often is when TJ isn't in the game.
