I'd personally pick the Banjo, it's probably easier to learn to play Is there really much difference between a singing saw and a normal saw?

stradivarius makes some singing saws, musical saws are made more for the purpose of playing

I always wondererd who discoverd a singing saw? I mean, did some lumberjack just suddenly think "Oh yeah, that would make a good sound"? @person who asked A singing saw is a saw that is used to make a noise similar to a theremin.

it's a saw played with a violin bow or a mallet, produces very etheral sounds similar to a theremin it's the other instrument being used in this besides the guitar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-KQXpgEAFM

Cudbert
#167690827Wednesday, July 15, 2015 9:31 PM GMT

A singing saw would be less expensive than a banjo but the main problem would be trying to find someone who could actually teach you to play it...Yes, I'd go for the Banjo
DrAwsomeMonkey
#167691035Wednesday, July 15, 2015 9:33 PM GMT

teach myself tbh, gonna end up buying both but still thinking
Cudbert
#167691221Wednesday, July 15, 2015 9:35 PM GMT

Yeah, just buy both...Play the banjo seriously and play the singing saw for an idiosyncrasy
