[Opening]
Hello fellow citizens,
I am announcing that I will be running for Deputy Director of RDoA. My goal as DD (Deputy Director) is to improve the overall activity level in RDoA. I know that the inactivity of this organization has been a major headache for Rockport Airlines, whether it be lack of air traffic controllers or TSA security officers. My goal is to make air travel in Rockport easier to do, maybe even have private air travel.
[About me]
I have been in Rockport for 8 months now. I was when Remmington V2 opened. I was here when Bill52600 was impeached. I was here when MunicipalLaw chose to retire. I was here when LordRobobuy decided to give up. I know Rockport. I want to help it move forward from these difficult times. That is why I chose to run for Rockport House of Represenatives. So far, I've drafted several bills, presented 3, and passed one constitutional amendment to fix TRC through the House (it is awaiting vote in the Senate. See: http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=163358904). I was also one of the leading voices to force the removal of Arceus3317, who was abusing his admin privileges on cities (He was the lead developer). Besides all of that, I was an RDoT Instructor for 3 months (until reforms).
Now, I've decided to continue to serve Rockport where I see a need. My goal is to make the Rockport Department of Aviation fully finished and active, as well as giving the citizens a chance to take part in aviation.
[My Plan]
There are many things that need to be done to accomplish my first goal: Increasing overall activity.
The first thing I plan to do is work alongside the RDoA director, iAruditeX, to begin a recruitment program. Next, I, personally, will host trainings and tryouts for all the different ranks. Eventually, I plan to train people to the point where they can train more people, and the cycle continues. Next, I will implement an activity monitoring system to make sure that people are active. If they aren't, they will be demoted.
I have some experience in aviation. I know some general protocol and things of that nature. I can fly a plane (hey, that's the most important thing).
As far as private aviation, it is something that I will work on. But for now, it remains a hopeful figment of my imagination. There are a lot of things that need to be done to make this possible. We'll just have to see what can be done.
If it were a perfect world where I was in charge of this, I would begin by asking the developers to develop a set private aircraft, from small props to large business jet and helicopters. Then, I would ask Congress to authorize the creation of a Rockport private flight school. It would work in a similar way as TRC:LD. Finally, I would ask the developers to do two things, first, Make very expensive game passes for different aircraft. Secondly, I'd ask them to make more islands with airports at places like Oxford.
