not spending money on free games is a very common thing to do, although it may not be a good thing to the company, it is a good thing to the consumer.
spending a heap of money on free games is frowned upon in normal society, no one ever says 'YES I JUST SPEND $200+ ON OUTRAGEOUS BUILDERS CLUB ON ROBLOX!' and then people congratulate them.
