But, just like badges (and more): The names can be the same, as long as they're from different places. The files are unique to the places. A place can save an unlimited ammount of times.

Say one of my files was named Testfile, my player would be the parent of that file, not the game? Therefore you could have as many "Testfile" named scripts, so long as they weren't located under the same player?

Not really the player, the user. Function > User > Player > Character. The game has nothing to do with it, except the saving and loading. Using the functions, you'd save the text to the user, then load it back whenever with a converter and loadstring. (Made by YOU)

Very clever.I'm pretty sure people are able to use badges to save where a player is,but you said free,so it's different.Not so intricate to me I may state.This idea is as good as a KeyUp function.

I don't get why people are agreeing with this. It's just any simple save idea, just reworded. I say no. There are plenty of good save scripts that people can put into their places at their own discretion.

I see your point, but most save scripts require the players to memorize a code, and they would likely not have the sense to write it down.

It's not a simple save script. You're not goanna save your whole place into one code for the player to "Write down." That's just not happening. I used a map-to-script generator. The generation was over 100,000,000 lines long. Nobody will write that down. Ever.

That sounds good for when you want to keep a collaborative amount of KOs in a single Place between its servers. This would allow long-term Badges like "Get 1,000 KOs" or "Make 1,000 Pizzas", at the same time preventing people from just generating numbers for high EXP/Levels/Gold. And yes, ROBLOX needs to drop the hats. You can normally wear one, and I don't think anybody is rich enough to afford all or even half of them.

@LegFight: I can. (Lol) But I don't care about that right now. Save/Load scripts are too much for the PLAYER, not the scripter. These would be absolutely PERFECT for things. What I'm planning to do is..... Well, I'll give you part of it. It's like a whole entire website, in 1 ROBLOXian game. Let's say you've been playing ROBLOX for 1 year. Every time you close it, you lose your: Account Tickets Robux Forum posts Games How fun would that be? That's like what I'm making, but it won't be if they do this. Seriously, how much space can a text file take up? xD I probably use up less space in Lua than I do instancing a truss.

The players shouldn't be able to edit it themselves. I.E. Each game should have it's own little "Sandbox" space in the player, that is only loaded when the player opens THAT game (not server, game). This would prevent players (and other games) from going into the file doing this. "Points: 147" to "Points: 9999999..."
