They didn't ban anime, I meant they banned the majority of anime sites and japanese sites because they think adapting to a foreign lifestyle is prohibited and should stay prohibited.

i'd like to say i'm uninformed because i've never been to China or Japan but anime is literally a Japanese cartoon and a Chinese cartoon is not a Japanese cartoon thus China does not make anime
