Question about scrollingframes and textbuttons

I have a scrollingframe with a bunch of buttons in it. If the scrollingframe is made invisible and inactive, will all the buttons not work or will you still be able to hit the invisible buttons?

if the scrolling frame's Visible property = false then you can't click anything on or in the scrolling frame
