Actually most web designers make close to 100k a year. I know one who does. There are also likely a few people with business and marketing degrees there who take care of the business side of things, which again, is not a low paying job.(My father used to make close to 40 dollars an hour as an accountant for example).
Also, those web designers also probably double as game designers, which again, is a HIGH PAYING job. Also as for your whole multiple job thing, no, if you're smart enough to go to college then no, you will not be working multiple hard labor jobs for the rest of your life. Someone has clearly taught you wrong.
Also, link to this website please? Cause if roblox is paying that low for a computer job in the silicon valley then they are seriously jipping their workers. Cause in these parts, website design, computer engineers and IT are probably the three best jobs you can have. |

I mean, seriously, take this from someone who's lived in California for all his life and lived in Silicon Valley in specific for most of my life and who has personally KNOWN computer engineers and web designers all my life and who has many friends going into IT and Computer engineering because of all of the high wage work options in my area.
It's the freakin' Silicon Valley man. Computers are our thing, and the raising costs in California are BECAUSE of all of the techie's high wages. There's no way a computer engineering job pays LESS than gamestop cashiers in the area. Gamestops in my area, (Sunnyvale, which also so happens to have the highest cost of living in the country right now) Start out at 13 dollars an hour and max out at 17 an hour.
Furthermore, at my current line of work, many fast food managers with NO college degree make anywhere from 13-15 an hour(Assistant managers) Or in the case of my GM, 23 dollars an hour. |

As for monetary concerns, it actually only costs ROBLOX about $15 a year to run this website. The rest goes in server maintenance, employees and their utility fees. |

Danny, I saw your post earlier. Even though the forums won't allow you to post it, thanks for the support and the detailed explanation as to why communication between staff and players is vital for a game to continue running. It's a shame you can't post it here, though :( |
