People will make hugely powerful expensive items, and make them look really crappy. Everyone would disable gear for their games, because no one would want to play that game then. I know I wouldn't play that game.

At least we be able to make say... a hat. I'm going to make a helmet one of my all time favorite characters wears. We should AT LEAST (key term) be able to create a design and send it into Roblox. They scope it out and it it's okay, possibly put it up for availability. Maybe you can set it as private so only you or a certain amount of people can have it. I have no idea but I think it would benefit Roblox greatly if they had this option.

now I may sound like a noob at this but I think we should: 1.let people make the gear under certain rules 2.setup a system where BUILDERS CLUB members are asked if they would like to try out their gear and ,if they think its ok,then ONLY THAT PERSON can use it and there idea is sent to a sort of box where there idea sits until roblox needs one. 3.if there is damage to ANY game then the three or five people who tried it will have their membership discontinued and account deleted. 4. the place that got "trolled" or destroyed will be restored by roblox admin IF the item that that person made is used by roblox AND the person is at max then that person is allowed one more item. seems fair to me also, I am a dr who fan and would like to make more then one of his gear(I am not in builders club)

Nice Idea! and eh yea, mesh, or... scripting isnt that hard to learn, cmon, i learned it when i was only 10. And if roblox would check the gears, it would be all right, another idea, roblox could "SELL" the ability to make gears, for at LEAST 1000 robux. OBC, TBC, and, maybe some BC's could do it...

If you know how, you can make tools, just not meshes. Roblox is soon allowing people to make a lot of blocks into 1 mesh. Then you could create your mesh texture. Then you could script it. And if it's good enough roblox might even publish it.
