Mr. White was supposed to kill Nice Guy Eddie after shooting his father, but during the shot, he didn't rotate in time to point the gun at him, and the guy playing Eddie fell over anyway. Tarantino left the mistake in to give viewers something to talk about. if we were to take this seriously though at face value, and say the Mr. White missed, then the most likely candidate would be Mr. Pink, as he could've shot him from under the ramp to get away with the diamonds, and you can see him exit with a pistol in hand.
