Functions similar to the actual Camera, but its a GuiObject.
It has a CoordinateFrame and field of view property and all that good stuff. Could be useful for security cameras or overhead minimaps. |

I really want Isosta to be my scripter |
IsostaJoin Date: 2015-05-10 Post Count: 14729 |
I really want people to directly ask me to script for them and offer incentive instead of being subtle |
@Isosta
You mean it could act like an actual mirror, or actual camera?
hence the name, of course..
If it were a GuiObject, you could LITERALLY make people see like Iguanas. That's a pretty cool idea. I'd want SurfaceGuis to support it too, but ROBLOX's GUI engine is crap enough, and the next thing they really should add to it is anti aliasing, over all. Too much jaggedness. |

Agreed with evolution, the alias is really ugly. |

I'm joking I already got an amazing scripter. |

Yeah because that would be so feasible and have so many applications aside security cameras
do you even listen to yourself? |

I don't get how it would be similar to a guiobject, cameras and guis are completely different things. You could script this yourself. Have a camera object then a method that sets the players camera to the properties of the camera object. |
@Ben
There's more than just one practical use for it. |
IsostaJoin Date: 2015-05-10 Post Count: 14729 |
@chongus,
I mean the gui object could be in a seperate partition, like a frame.
You could put it in the top left corner if the screen. |
roblox already ruled out mirrors so i doubt that they'd do this |
IsostaJoin Date: 2015-05-10 Post Count: 14729 |
@lord,
Just ignore ben hes 13 years old, cant script, and feeds completely off of other peoples work. |
They haven't completely ruled out mirrors, the only downside to a "mirror" is the fact that it takes such a huge toll on rendering. People have already made their own, terrible version of a "mirror," but it doesn't show things like decals or images, meshes, even. |
I can't name any usages for it other than mirrors and security cameras
and security cameras can be made without this cameralabel |

One massive use would be the ability to cover multiple angles for the player, allow the player to maybe seem himself in third person when he hits the ` key or some other such things. But it's a very costly feature with very small advantages |

@gigantic,
I can name plenty to be honest.
You could make televisions, minimaps, split screen games and games that could require multiple views. |

@Dark,
Ive been posting this in S&I + Scripters for months |
Not to mention, if you angled it right; panoramic pictures, maybe even 360 degree pictures on a full brick. |

CHONGUSJoin Date: 2015-01-30 Post Count: 6153 |
Make it yourself, it's possible just INSANELY resource intensive. There is a reason they don't do it lol. |
well here's one thing I want and that's I want roblox to build an API for VR |
@Gigantic
PM me an explanation of what VR is? |
