[N-USA] Senatorial Announcement of Candidacy

Good afternoon, My name is bill52600, and today I am announcing my candidacy for a seat in the United States Senate. Getting right down to the point, I wish to exhibit my knowledge of government and public administration in the Senate to create working jobs, resources, and programs that will help Americans like you and me. While I lean towards being a Liberal, I tend to move myself to bipartisan points so that optimal efficiency can be met. I register as an Independent because, like George Washington warned against, political parties can sometimes create more gridlock than good in both federal and state legislatures. This summer, I served as an Intern in a Congressional Office (rl). I finished this past week, and over the course of it, was able to learn many different things about Congress that I would like to share with my colleagues and American Citizens. I worked on things like casework, communications, administration, etc. Additionally, I am a former 2-term US Representative (roblox). During my tenure in the House, I presented multiple peaces of legislation, most of them making it to the Presidents desk. Some of this legislation includes copyright protection for speeches and assets, restarting some of the essential departments shutdown by previous President jcmand, etc. I follow the 2016 Presidential Race very closely and frequent political blogs and websites to help further my knowledge and recognition of what's happening to my government and my environment. I have previously served as US Secretary of State and Deputy Secretary of State. If elected Senator, I promise as both a Citizen and a politician to bring real-life practices to the Congress in order to make it more efficient, effective, and reliable.
