Starting a new group. Want to see C&G's response.
Here's the background.
Giant shattered galaxy, lots of small states warring and civil war and whatnot. 'Roma' was one, and it had no more success than the others. Throughout this, cults that worship Lovecraftian gods have been running around being oppressed and hated by everyone because worshipping those sorts of gods brings extreme danger and lots of tentacles. The Emperor, seeing the potential these cults could bring, offers them refuge and power in exchange for absolute loyalty and dedication. A particularly large one accepts. Using the power of the occult, the Emperor begins winning several victories against its neighbors, growing in size. The army is modernized and improved, and the cult, renamed Cult Imperator in dedication to the emperor, is separated into three branches. A cult dedicated to martial perfection, a cult dedicated to being practically inquisitors, making sure that only the Cult Imperator practices its rituals, and a cult dedicated to scholars and lore.
Roma itself is practically a military dictatorship. Local governments help decide regional laws, but most of it is handled by military governors and of course the emperor himself.
Cults have ingrained theirselves into Roma's elite and military structure, with many high ranking officers being members of the cults.
The Arcanii are an elite division of the main legions dedicated to infiltration, light infantry, and reconnaissance purposes and is almost entirely directed by the inquisitors.
The Arditii are an elite division of stormtroopers dedicated to breaching the lines and feats of extreme prowess for normal infantry. They're almost entirely oversaw by the warrior cultists.
In short, a futuristic, occult/gothic space empire based off of ancient Rome. Officers can choose to put on an edgy morph and join a cult for more power and respect at the cost of taking on additional responsibility -- for warrior cultists, becoming better at fighting, for inquisitors, having to perform secret police duties, etc.
Group is in development and will launch in 2-3 weeks.
Everything is accounted for but more funding is always appreciated.

first off provide a tl;dr for illiterate people like me
and second, automatically a bit turned off by the fact its called Roma, seeing as rome is very very common in my primary's genre |

Sci-fi Roman Empire with heavy gothic and occult influences and the option to join cults for HRs to perform extra crap and look edgier. |

Well for one, I'm not considering she's the goddess of night, feared by all and is also the mother of Nemesis, Thanatos, and a few others gods
It doesn't fit her theme and there's just so much more potential for a better taunt since she's the goddess of night |
