Someone asked me to write some, so here it is. I put my helmet on as I watch the clock. 2:00 AM in the morning. I sigh in frustration as I fix the helmet on my head. I ask my other teammate: -Why did they wake us up this time? -A routine check. You know, TRA is in conflict right now and we don't want any unwanted guests. -I see....they never patrol, though. The High Ranks always put us to patrol. I feel like all they do is give orders. -It's true, though. But, since we pledged to respect the High Ranks of TRA we have to do what they asked us to do. After that, nobody else said anything else. Even if it was quiet and I could finally enjoy a bit of silence, A tense feeling was felt by us. A feeling that made us feel like something bad and with big significance is going to happen...even if we all had the same feeling and we knew it, we did not say a word. I put my camouflage uniform on. With big letters, "TRA" could be seen on it. I turned the speaker on and said "All the troops, Vaktus speaking. After you're finished equipping yourselves, get out and patrol in squads of 6 the whole Normandy. We don't want a second D-DAY, do we?" Even if the distance was quite big between us, the troops said "Yes, sir!" and I easily heard them. After I put my "Elite Squad Leader" sticker on my uniform, I got out and entered the squad of the other 5 elite people. We were the ones with the most dangerous and hardest job: to patrol the beach on the darkness with our flashlights. This could have ended in us being slayed, but we were the elite squad and everyone counted on us preventing a lot of casualties. After this thought entered my mind, I felt a slight feeling of fear. Fear. I have not felt fear in years. I have fought on the Helghast planets, I have encountered the strongest enemies, though I felt fear at such a simple thing: a patrol. A patrol that could have changed the TRA history forever, though. As I was fighting within myself, one of the elite squads said "Hop in the truck!" I woke up from the trance, nodded in confusion, and hopped in. Nobody was saying a word, even if I knew we were all thinking the same thing: a simple patrol could change the tide of the battle if we survive and detect our enemy's position. "So, who are we fighting?" asked one of the yet uninformed elite troops. "Helghast Empire", I said. "A empire spread on a few planets that decided that ROBLOXIA stands in their way. They landed here a few days a go and captured the beach, but a thick fog covered Normandy and nobody knows their position now. They could even be in the bunkers now, preparing to attack us...and that's why we are here to detect their position. The only problem is that we have to go back to our fort and tell them the enemy position, that if we can reach them alive..." A tense silence covered us again. What a initially friendly to it's mates but deadly in combat squad turned into average human flesh, helpless mortal meat, just like the country TRA was supposed to protect. We arrived at once. A fog you could cut with the knife was spread around. Since you could not even see your hand in it, we tied ourselves to each other with tight ropes so we do not....

PART 2 ....so we do not lose each other in the fog. We started advancing with the semi-automatic rifles in front of our left eyes, aiming for any potential enemy. We kept advancing, and we advanced for quite some time, until we started feeling sand bellow our feet. That meant we were on the beach. I sighed in fear as I advanced. Since we were quite spread out (still tied by each other with the ropes), we had to scream to each other, but screaming would have meant the enemies would have heard us, so we were communication through a machinery. "Are you alright, guys?" "Yes, we are." "Make sure to shake the rope if you encounter anything suspicious." "Understood, Vaktus". As we were advancing, I randomly thought: "Heh, what a weird code-name they gave to me...Vaktus..." As I was thinking of my code-name, I stopped walking, but I realized I am in the mission, so I quickly started moving again. After a time, we saw a black shade passing by us in the fog. Perhaps, he was a Helghast soldier and either detected us and was going to turn the alarm on or he did not see us and was just in a hurry. Either way, we could have not risked being detected so I shaked the rope. One of the troops on the far right (I was on the left side of the beach) saw him and shaked the rope. This way, all the troops on the right side were aware of the shadow. They quickly ran towards the shadow, and 20 tense men meant the shadow got quickly catched. They catched him. As I was curious to see what the shadow was, I told the troops on the left side to stay in place and I went to the right side of the beach. It turned out I was right: The troop was a Helghast one and he was going to turn the alarm on. I sighed of relief as I laid on the cold ground, exhausted from the sweating and stress. But, we still had a lot to do. After quite being interrogated (and caused pain if necessary), the Helghast soldier confessed to us in a broken English accent that the Helghast army was still stationed on the beach and was setting a outpost. I asked him what was the goal they attacked for, but he did not want to answer anymore, so I just killed him. I realized this was worse than I expected. If they were building an outpost, there could have been three possibilities the outpost could have been built for: Scouting, for diplomatic purposes, or.....war. I nodded my head left and right in disagreement as I that thought came in my head. We kept advancing, until we saw what seemed to be the outpost. Even if he described it as "small", the half-finished terminal was huge, even if not even finished. I wondered in terror what the finished outpost would have looked like.... I stopped that thought and we started climbing the tall unfinished walls. Due to many bricks being misplaced, we easily climbed the walls because we were using the bricks as a support. Luckily, no Helghast guardian was on the wall. Perhaps, they did not expect to encounter any enemies in this environment, at least for a bit. We kept making our way through the outpost, mostly sneaking through the fog but taking out a Helghast soldier every now and then. Each time one was down, one of us was taking his uniform and putting it on him. This way, by the way we reached the gate of the outpost we were all disguised in Helghast soldiers. We took our ropes off, sighed, and entered. We entered in and saw a massive hall with a door covering a part of the wall every few feet. At the far end of the hall, a throne was stationed but nobody was sitting on it. Even though nobody was sitting on it, the hall was guarded by Helghast soldiers that seemed to be statues judging but how they were staying. Near the throne, a massive stairway was leading towards the upper floor. Even if initially in fear due to the massive number of soldiers, I started advancing. After me, each teammate of mine started advancing one by one, like they were being in a weird trance. We advanced quickly through the hall. After we arrived near the thrones, we started whispering to each other. "Ok, so we are 40 men. We will spread in squads of 5, each squad going on a door. We have to find out what's going on in here, understood?" "Yes, Vaktus!" said my teammates. They spread in squads of 5 throughout the building. I took 5 of the strongest troops with me. We climbed the stairway. The upper floor was also a massive hall that had a ton of doors. But, this time, in the end of the hall, there was a huge door, not a deserted throne. We advanced and opened the doors. The doors opened, while making a weird metallic noise that was giving you the feeling your brain is being pierced. In the massive room, around 100 computers were spread on the walls and Helghast soldiers were watching the computers. On each computer, a section of the outpost could be seen. In the end of the room, there was a throne just like the one we saw earlier. This time, a soldier that had a cape was sitting on it. The cape suggested that he could have been a High Rank. "Welcome, Vaktus", he said with a grim voice. "Now, I want you to watch your teammates die one by one", he said with a clear satisfaction showing in his deep voice that was giving you the impression he is evil. I saw each teammate of mine get shot in the head one by one by guardians who were hiding. So, he knew all this time, but he acted like he did not. "NO!", I said. But, it was too late.... PART THREE I was forced to watch my teammates die, one by another. I could do nothing but watch. Funny how many times I considered myself to be a heartless cold-blooded killer, but, right now, I nearly cried watching some men I have known for only a few days die. "No..." I said. The Helghast general took out his helmet and smiled with the most grotesque and grim smile I have ever seen. He said "that is why you need us. You are just a weakling, like they were." This sentence got me curious. After all, I still did not know the reason he set an outpost on TRA territory. That is also why we declared war on him, because we detected Helghast movement coming towards us. He realized that I was curious and said "We did this for the reason you are thinking about: to conquer land." So, I was right, after all. He interrupted my thoughts and said "But, TRA is a tough enemy. This is why we needed somebody who knows the fort inside out, so he can tell us all the ways around." It made sense now. They acted like they had no idea we were here, and we stepped right into their trap. They let us come at them. "But, since your teammates are useless now because we have you, we shall execute the last ones remaining", the general said with a sadistic expression. My teammates who came with me got killed in front of me, one by one, but, this time, ont on a screen, but right in front of my eyes. "Join us", the general said. "We will teach you how to be a killing machine, not a weakling like your teammates were." The general kept blabbing, but I was not listening to him. I noticed I had two big tables near me. A Helghast guard was also right near me. So, I did the unexpected. I grabbed his weapon and knocked him out with it. I flipped the tables, so I had cover. The general said "Drop the weapon now". I realized he was slightly nervous, which gave me enough power to have the ambition to fight. And I fought. And I fought.
