If Devan Dubnyk can be considered Vezina quality than Holtby is for sure a contender. |

Dubnyk isn't Vezina quality. He was put in the voting because it was a redemption story and people thought that it was cool. He was never actually in the running. |

As a Wild fan, not even I acknowledge Dubnyk for anything yet. For all I know he could fall under the curse that all Minnesota goalies have. One good half season run then crap, which is what I'm waiting to see.

Price or Holtby.
You can't argue that Holtby was without a doubt, a beast in the play-offs. Holding a 1.71GAA and a 0.944% save percentage. As for Price, he was average.
Now take a look at the reg season.
Price: 44 wins, 1.96 GAA, 0.933%
Holtby: 40 wins, 2.22 GAA, 0.923%
Now understand that Holtby is only 25 and Price is 28. You really think Holtby isn't going to improve next season? Especially based off his play-off performance last year. |
