@GC; Lazy? Have you ever successfully tried to find a friend on a server listing of over 500 players when the server namelist isn't even always accurate? I do this more than daily. I waste hours of my day doing it. I hate it.
You have a lot of nerve to call me lazy.
@Darth; I'm sure it will work. Roblox just has to make an attempt instead of just eating our BC/TBC/OBC money and claiming, 'Impossible' for anything that takes more that a few months to work out.
It's not that hard to code a player search if they can code a 3D environment. In fact, they had something similar up at one point. They failed (glitches) and now I am suggesting an alternative route.
Nobody suggested this. Maybe something similar, but nothing with the same details. I recal seeing someone who suggested the "Play on /map/ with /player/" on all the accounts, and that was done. I am not suggesting that.
I am suggesting a namesearch for /each/ level. They already have a "Playing on this map" link. They tried a "Playing on this server" link (failed). Let's try another way, shall we?
Maybe on each map have a search bar that highlights the server rather than taking you directly to it, preventing any glitching there...
If even that is 'Impossible', maybe Roblox could add a friend or stranger qualifier to the Robloxian Account. This way they could use it as a sorting technique when deciding which server to list first. Let's have all the servers that my friends are on at the top? That would make life much easier for all of us. |
