idk tbh i just cut the nut for the four strings on my bass and now have a custom gauge 5 string setup the standard tuning is BEAD and i play in ADGC it sounds beautiful but i feel like its gonna either cost me a sht ton of money to maintain or my truss rod is going to warp the neck

in english; my bass is meant to have somewhat thick strings i decided to get rid of my not thick strings and use super thick strings strings cause tension and can pull the guitar neck i had to cut the thing that holds the strings in place so theyd fit
