a world cup between teams from all 50 states, all 10 canadian territories/provinces, and a rest of the world team.
it would be 61 teams which will work in a single elimination bracket like this /lq8gtM sounds like a lot of teams, but states/ provinces with not alot of people will just fft lose. Also the top seeded teams will be highly populated places (Quebec,Texas,Florida,California) as top seeds. Just a fun idea

we have done this with regions in other sports to some success, doing it with a league would work the best
idk about all states getting their own team tho |

1. there are 10 provinces in Canada, 3 territories, making for 13, not 10
2. 50+10=/=61
3. doing this with every single state/province is a bad idea "but states/ provinces with not alot of people will just fft lose. " this isn't a good thing

It should be:
Southeast US
Southwest US
Central US
Northwest US
Northeast US
Eastern Canada
Western Canada
and if there is too many people trying to play from a certain state (Texas, California, North Carolina etc.) then we can break it off |
