South Africa's been somewhat poor as of late, i.e. going 0-3 including a loss to Argentina in the RC over the summer, and Japan just wanted and needed it so much more. Honestly though I don't think this will completely destroy the Springboks' momentum. In 2011 Tonga shocked France in the pool stage and France made (and nearly won) the final. Time will tell how everything goes.

I'm surprised, This is our first match against them and their second win in the RWC. That last try was amaze #GgJapan

This will also be huge for the sport likely, and we need that since Japan's actually hosting in 2019.

For Amerifats: This result is a bigger upset than Buster Douglas beating Mike Tyson.

If you take odds into consideration, it's more than twice as big of an upset as Buster Douglas beating Mike Tyson.
