To be clear, this is not a request to undo my ban. What's done is done, but looking forward this needs to be fixed.
Right now any item that gets scammed or comes from an account that was compromised leads to the termination of the user who ends up with it. Instead of rolling back the trade, or even giving users a warning they are terminated. Although in some cases this works well, nowadays scammers are getting smarter. They get rid of the items quick and avoid termination, leading to the termination of an otherwise innocent user because they accepted an offer.
Some may ask how we can improve this. The answer can be fairly simple.
1) Have an actual investigation into and incident. Reach out to the people who have scammed items. Have a ban screen saying to email roblox.
2) Give a user opportunity to give a user back a scammed item. Not only does this teach a more valuable lesson to the person who would otherwise be terminated, it also builds community trust with moderators.
3) Roll back any trades related to a scammed item. If it is a long chain of trades, the above system would not work. Thus by reverting trades the damage could be undone. Then warn or temporarily ban a user involved.
Although we will never stop scamming, this would certainly help prevent it. It would also lead to a better end result.
Why I suggest this:
My old account was terminated with over one million robux in items. I believe it was because of a scammed item, although appeals never really said. It devastated me and to this day I have not recovered. I had no idea an item was scammed, nor did I have any intention of keeping it if roblox had asked me to give it back. I know it is too late for me, but it doesn't have to be for more innocent users.
