Before I start, I'll say this. I've been a user on this site very actively since late 2008. Since my first week on ROBLOX, I've always been good at maintaining game popularity through strategic advertising and good design. This new website not only looks awful, but also makes it incredibly difficult for developers to do anything. The only reason to over-simplify everything, while actually overcomplicate it, is because somehow you came to the conclusion this would draw new users to the site at a faster rate than before. Is your goal to make all the current players lose touch and stop, shame developers by having their outfit the first thing people see when they search their names and draw in new, younger users? Do you have no respect for anything we've ever created? Are our 4th group and games less significant than a Warrior badges, or what clothes we're wearing? Do we not even get the choice to revert to the old profile, which allows people to see all our work instantly, as well as all our groups at the same time?
I figured it was just an experimental thing to test whether or not the website had any major glitches when drastically changing the appearance, but it's been weeks now and it's still not been reverted nor has any option to personalize your profile to the original version been offered.
Let me list some of the problems.
1. Completely disorganized.
2. Prioritizes the least important things.
3. Makes developers look like a joke. When somebody looks up my name, I do not want them to see what I am wearing and have to click a tab to see that I even make games, and then have to click a button 45 times to see my latest project.
4. Looks awful. It's basically the difference between google plus and sites like Twitter. Which one do people use? Not the over-simplistic one that looks like it was thrown together in an hour on dreamweaver.
5. Not only did you take the 'updated at:' note away from the bottom of games month ago, as well as adding a glitch that caused save corruptions, forced logoffs and fake sakes causing you to often lose 4 hours of work without knowing it, but you also removed our weekly plays so we can't advertise properly when our games lose popularity, or know how relevant our games are.
6. You made the group icons way too big, as if that's whats truly important. Yet you ALSO changed that so one has to click 100 times to get to their 100th group. Are you guys seriously this awful at website design? I have a degree in that, I could easily make a better website with my eyes closed. This is just pathetic.
7. You suddenly made ROBLOX badges, a feature that had been redundant for years into a big feature, yet did not update it at all, and even hid later badges. WHY make the icons bigger to imply that it's important, then hide them? Badges can be understood within 0.1 seconds at a glance.
8. You hide the lower ads on profiles so they will pretty much never be clicked.
9. You can't access your friends of favorites from your profile.
10. Despite focusing on badges like; 10 kills, 100 kills and bloxxor, you removed data like KOs and WOs and hid the rest of the stats at the bottom.
11. Forced game icons. So now our games display picture is straight up deleted for an over-simplistic square block. I've been meaning to change the rest of my game icons for a while, but I need to stay in a different mindset to work on something.
This isn't me being salty. I have a degree in website creation, and honestly- during the classes I went through using dreamweaver to create around 15 websites over the course of three units in two years, I've never seen anybody in the class create a worse designed page than the profile page. I'm guessing somebody high up made it, and nobody had the courage to tell them it served no purpose, looked awful and was disrespectful to the content creators.
Whatever when I finish the songs for my game (Yes I was forced to learn how to make advanced music because you PMd me telling me I would be terminated if I ever used another persons music, models etc. I spent a large chunk of my money on buying music licenses, but also a large chunk buying the license to software and am now wasting even more time on that. Not to mention I've spent months making a complex story game to allow people to progress through the game in a way that doesn't have stats, to avoid being hacked. I'm 100% moving to Unity once this project is completed. I'm embarrassed to be a part of this site, and truly hope nobody looks up my name and sees that I'm wearing 'Anime girl hair' before they see my prideful games.

It's impossible to "Bring back the old profile page." Define "old", and some games are outdated and broken. |

The new profile page is terrible. I can't even see what game my friend is playing when I follow him, if it is there and I'm just not seeing it, they sure made it not easy to see.
And it is very disorganized, looks awkward, and has lots of negative space. |

OT- I don't support this. The old was unprofessional and a mess. The 'new' one is much cleaner.

Support. Also, I want to play that story based game. I love those games. Sadly, everyone is a casual "gamer" here on roblox, and will not play games that require thinking.
I agree with everything you've said. Companies are beginning to follow EA's business model and treat their customers like cattle. |

Also, I've definitely noticed a lot of players gone from ROBLOX when I checked the highest amount of players on popular games. And this is around 1:50PM!
A huge amount of players must have left when the profile update came around. And I can see why. The old profile had LOTS of information, all at a glance.
The new one helps build negative biases about people because you can't see the important stuff at a glance. ROBLOX genuinely does not care about their players anymore. |

Fully agree, this new layout doesn't even work.
Whenever I click the 3 dots, the dropdown menu pops up just fine.
But if I would click "Join Game" in the menu, the menu would just fade out and it wouldn't start the game.
From 2 clicks to 4 clicks, huge improvement. [not]

Biggest support I have EVER given.
The new profile page is CLEARLY hated. It must be hard for them to change it because of the 'work' they've put into it, but it's TRASH.
Sorry but this is update is probably even more unaccepted than the price floors. |

The new profile page is designed for mobile users, yet only 5% (Gross estimate) users i know are ACTUALLY playing on those devices. |

No the new profile is actually looks like a profile not a billboard. I agree I liked the old profile though.
1. They are trying to fix things up. Its something you can get used to.
2. Like showing off my friends or that game I made when I was seven was important!! Customization is coming soon so we can show what we want better as it states on the blog.

9. They are fixing many things they "took away" from the profiles.
10. KOs and WOs were removed in the summer 2015, and the profiles were released in September, And you blame the new profiles. How cute.
11. It may or may not come out with customization, but please do not worry. Long before new profiles were released, Icons were released and they stated they would almost replace thumbnails with icons, but not remove thumbnails. Thumbnails are like the pics you see after clicking on an app in the app store.
Next time when you make a post be sure you make it understandable and make sure you know whats going on around you (Or in ROBLOX's offices)
