I count roblox as light gaming, not some serious gaming where you need some big arse desktop and secondary monitors, and it's portable too, haha

It should be able to run ROBLOX, but if you have low FPS, you may have to leave the graphics setting at 1.

It will work, but that processor is going to struggle. Makes sure its got some proper cooling and good airflow. Even my chromebook has a 2.6ghz processor

I kind of gave up in the ASUS because it is very hollow, if you drop it one time, prepare to call your warranty center

I was talking about that 2.2ghz i5, the lower power i5's are not meant for gaming, they are specially designed for low impact graphical work or drafting and stuff. Thats why it comes with a gt920m, which is not a gaming nvidia card, its based on reading point clouds and non-moving graphical presentation. Basically OP, the first computer you listed it meant for people who use photoshop or do video editing and stuff, its not meant for games. Your second option with the i7 may do better, but you're going to need to replace that gt920m with something meant for games, something like a nvidia gtx 770m or an AMD radeon 8900m. also, avoid i5s in general like theyre the plague, they get really, really hot and laptop cooling systems are not enough to keep them in perfect operating temperatures sudo apt-get install a_life

"that 2.2ghz i5" has good clock speeds and has hyperthreading so you're not comparing them to the right thing a. this is why you have copper-based cooling systems, some even have this magical thing called titanium b. 2.2ghz isn't low-power,we're talking about mobile processors here c. a GTX 770M for roblox is out of this world ; my GTX 680M does all my workstation needs in the bat of an eyelid and it cost half the price of a 770M mv /home/siggy /dev/null

I have had this particular i5 hes taking about, its not meant for gaming, and neither is that graphical card. Plain and simple, its a nice card and a decent processor, but for games like roblox its not going to perform as well as other combinations could. Also, titanium is 20 times less efficient at transferring heat as copper is. sudo apt-get install a_life

Most newer computers (portable or desktop) can run ROBLOX if they have a decent graphics card and a newer i5/i7 Intel processor. The lowest requirments for ROBLOX can be found here: https://en.help.roblox.com/hc/en-us/articles/203312800-Computer-Hardware-Operating-System-Requirements.

the point of titanium is to expel heat, not to transfer it ; that way hot air is expelled much more quickly from the system let me put it to you this way ; imagine OP wants a buggy. the OP can get a can-am buggy with a 70HP engine with insane off-road capabilities,it's much more reliable and fast, sure, but OP would take the honda big red any day because it's cheap to fix and exists in trillions on classifieds. same goes for this dell and your custom-built beast. mv /home/siggy /dev/null

To expel heat you need to be able to transfer it. Replace the copper heatsink with a titanium one and its not going to gain an influx of much heat from the processor because of its poor thermal conductivity, therefore it cannot expel the heat as efficiently as a copper heatsink. sudo apt-get install a_life

Both of them can run it, If my Intel 945 Express Chipset Family Graphics Card + Intel Celeron processor can run it, (Which both are absoloute trash, overused aswell) then you can run it on a Laptop 10x better than this.

Running Roblox at max settings with an Intel i5 3210M @ 2.50GHz and a GTX650M 1GB, you should have no problems.
