Linux is open source and has many different versions therefore its not an official operating system. Apart from Steam (Since most users of linux has), hardly anyone else has decided to make a version for it. The issue is that less 10% of people using computer have linux.

"Linux is open source and has many different versions therefore its not an official operating system." so just bring it to ubuntu, mint, arch, etc roblox already has osx down so the linux distros are not that far "The issue is that less 10% of people using computer have linux." this statistic (which isn't even a statistic) is bloated by work computers / your grandma / the technologically impaired people that use linux also play video games linux is growing extremely quickly because because are jumping the windows 10 ship and linux is getting increased game support

The reason Linux isn't supported is because all of the distros use their sound and video drivers differently, so you get different bugs and different levels of compatibility across every distro, and it's generally a nightmare to debug. HOWEVER, Shedletsky has said they're 90% done with a Linux port (he said it a long time ago), and Linux is on their platform list in their source code. Of course, DOS is also on that list, so I don't expect much.
