I dont think so, the web has expanded enough where most URLs are owned by companies that use them, not many people still sit on website URLs with intention of waiting til a company can throw money at them for it.
Companies like GoDaddy have been doing just fine over the last few years financially, and havent expanded too much because of how the internet is now-adays.
I might see failure of virtual cryptocurrency and online marketplaces in the next few years, but not the websites and such themselves.
Adblock has been dealt with, sites are making workarounds for it and Adblock now offers companies to pay them to put their site on a blacklist for using adblock, income through ads on the internet is on the rise.
