5 NY Islanders vs 1 CGY Flames
Finally, mulletboi and pieman get active to help out this flames team. It took 6 games, but they bested Nashville. I feel that they are a better team with them more active. However, the islanders are on a hot streak. Super basically replaced darky for this team, and they have a decent 3rd guy for whoever they decided to put as their 3rd guy. This will be a close series, but I think Calgary will pull it off with more depth now that they have more activity from other HHCL vets they drafted.
PREDICTION: CGY 4-3 NYI
3 OTT Senators vs 2 MIN Wild
A rematch all of the senators have wanted. In case you don't know. In season 8, the senators and the wild squared off in round 1 of the playoffs. The sens took a 2-1 series lead, but let the wild unfortunately come back and win the series 4-2. Now, both teams remain somewhat the same, but with some lost players. Will history repeat itself for Ottawa, or will they beat the wild. I believe that history will repeat itself. Simply because Minnesota has more players that they rotate shifts with, and ice time. Ottawa mainly only plays 5-6 people a game, Minnesota plays probably 8-9 and uses their depth incase if someone is not there.
PREDICTION: MIN 4-2 OTT
5 SJ Sharks vs 1 BOS Bruins
The sharks came off of an impressive win against Winnipeg, but now face a tough Boston team. I'm not sure what isidersz has planned, but it's got to be something that can stop alk and his goons that's for sure. Boston just has to much talent for San Jose at this time. Not really much to say here unfortunately.
PREDICTION: BOS 4-1 SJS
3 ANA Ducks vs 2 COL Avalanche
The avs have had a really great season. kkbronze put together a really great team filled with hhcl vets. However, they did struggle against the flyers in round 1 a bit, but nonetheless, still got the series win. They face the ducks, who have been together for what seems like ever. Anaheim just has worked together for so long and I think that will get Colorado in this game.
