40 homers woo! yea-no, he's TRASH he became the first player to EVER hit 40 homers and have an OPS under .800, for comparison, only ONE OTHER PLAYER IN HISTORY has EVER hit 40 homers and had an OPS NOT ABOVE >>,900<< he also had a measly 22 doubles.. which is tied for last among players who hit 40 homers this season in comparison, 155 players had at least 22 doubles this season............... 109 are eligible for the batting title this is THE WORST PUJOLS season to date, and, want me to keep going? he'll be paid $30 million in 2021... 1. having a OPS .787 is good for the majority of baseball players. 2. considering that pujols is 35 years old it was expected that his line will drop. 3. second worst season of his career. 2013 had everything go bad for him. 4. with contracts going on right now for big names, absolutely nobody will live up to the contract that is given to them. it's an inflation party and mlb teams come in knowing that the players want those long term contracts.
