ok so so dodgers are 2nd in nl even though cubs have a better record if dodgers play cubs in NLCS who has home field advantage? would the cubs because of better record or dodgers because division? aa

This actually has happened before in the Championship series. 87 win Yankees hosted the 91 win Mariners in the 2000 ALCS 94 win Twins hosted the 99 win Angels in the 2002 ALCS 88 win Cubs hosted the 91 win Marlins in the 2003 NLCS Also a bit more in the Division series.
