This has probably been stated before. I personally think that ROBLOX Groups should be able to create a ''Sub-Group'' which is technically a smaller Group that is directly related to the Main Group it was created from, the Main Group has complete control over this group. The ''Sub-Group'' can be used to specify certain areas in the Main Group's genre. For example a Sub-Group could be used as a High Rank group that talks about certain problems within the main group. Or a Sub-Group could be used for a Security division for a Clothes group.

Also, you should be allowed to join unlimited sub groups, but only if you are in main group. To prevent spam, each sub group should cost 100 robux, probably? Support. I will quit roblox, if it won't be there in 2100. #logic

Auri, I was thinking that only the leader or designated ranks can create Sub-Groups. I would say Sub-Groups would cost 75-100 ROBUX as they have the same powers as the main group, but cannot ally or declare enemies unless the main group declares enemies.

Group owners create other groups and just use them as these "Sub-Groups" Hopefully this is a good example, look at the allies for this group. http://www.roblox.com/My/Groups.aspx?gid=254403 I understand what you're saying but wouldn't it be simpler to just stick to what people are doing right now?

Yeah, it could be used for divisions.

That's true but, People are already doing that right now... Why have a sub-group while you can just do what RIC and other groups have bi-passed. Adding something like this would be a waste to the larger groups since they already have stuff like this created

Patrick, I see your point but these Division groups are very limited. It gets annoying when you have to look through ''Alliances'' to find the divisions. But if you have Sub-Groups, they can be more involved with the main group. Such as a ''Building'' Sub-Group could have the power to create game places on the main group. Or a ''High Rank'' Sub-Group can have a group place that restricts main group members. Or there could be a ''VIP'' Sub-Group could get certain benefits within the main group.

I like this idea. I think, a "sub-group" should cost 50 R$ as it is a sub-group. It should be connected to the main group entirely and the main group gets entire control of it; unless specified otherwise. Where I could see this used is a Game Development group where there's different fan clubs for different games made by the Development group. It would work like StackExchange, you have 1 account, then join different groups, like StackOverflow or Programming. The main group being the 1 account, the different groups being sub-groups. Also, war groups could have divisions in them. There would be a new tab called "Sub-Groups", which is filled with the sub-groups. Also, I think there should be another page for the ENTIRE group INCLUDING sub-groups. So, in the normal group page, there would be a button like "Visit Entire Group" or something like that, which contains a page with all subgroups shouts, descriptions, shop, etc. Sub-groups shouldn't be able to have allies or enemies. They should have their own shouts, descriptions and shops though.

Sub-Groups also help to keep fake divisions away. As anyone can make fake divisions and claim to be official to the main group. But if Sub-Groups are added, the leader of the group can decide what divisions he wants.

Seriuosly, if it was implemented, we would't have to create 100000000 groups or outside roblox website to show each person's division or brigade. Also, what about making sub groups able to have their sub groups too? Similiar to Feudalism. (if you know how it works.)

How would it work out if admins had to manage the subgroups?

The leader of the main group is automatically the leader of the Sub-Group and can decide if the Sub-Group is open to join or if it is closed to certain members of the main group. Like I said before Sub-Groups are a group in there own right, but you have to be in the main group to join the Sub-Group. You do not have to be a high rank in the main group to be a high rank in the Sub-Group and the leader chooses the admins/high ranks in the Sub-Group as well.
