I had to upload 20 images aka 20 frames for an animation. With gifs, there would no broken with this, you wouldn't have to upload 20 of them.

every single time, people say this. The way that we make animations, we can still make seizure prone animations. All that needs to happy, is to make it scary and flashing quickly.

Gifs, in my opinion, shouldn't be added. These animations aren't very common on ROBLOX, and would take significant resources in order to cater to a minority, something ROBLOX has never been too fond of doing. In addition to that, here's some things that hold the gif file format back from being added into ROBLOX : 1) Gifs are low quality in most cases, and ESPECIALLY on mobile. It'd make ROBLOX look far less professional in general, which isn't what they want. 2) Gif file sizes are SIGNIFICANTLY larger than their static counterparts. There'd be far too much data being uploaded to ROBLOX. 3) The gif file format is very outdated, and to quote Woot3, "This all goes without discussing the fact that GIF is going to suffer the same fate as Flash. Formats such as WebM are much better and more efficient than the 26~ year old format. The gifv format is a perfect example of this."

hmm Maybe roblox can supply a plugin where we can make animations, because that at least would help us. I mean roblox would reject those images if they could cause issues.

It wouldnt get done, buut please listen before you ignore me, MOderation would take to long, and it may have some hidden meaning so you upload like half of it at a time and make it one bad thing, so :( Also, what about all the nasty movies Moderators look through? For decals or clothing, its one thing, for this, its 1 or 2 seconds or grossness. Knowing Moderation for this does not get paid well, Im sure Moderators would want a raise of some sort, but as you know, roblox is stringy
