The people of UCR have succeeded. We were not going to lay down and die like this, we were going to fight, and that we did. We showed that we wanted UCR to succeed, and we showed that we loved it. Well now, that's all payed off because UCR is going into elections for the next president of UCR. This person must be kind, noble, and strong. Someone with a sense of charisma and leadership. Someone who knows what to fight for and how to fight for it. Ladies and gentlemen, Undecrypted has made his speech, it's time for mine. Good luck undecrypted, we've had some rough times but the shutdown of UCR has unified us and I hope that whatever happens we can take this relationship back to where it was in 2009, as friends.
Six years. Six long years, that's how long it took us to get to this point in the UCR timeline. Setback after setback, loss after loss, yet we still stand. Why? We've had hope, courage, and we believed. We believed that UCR could do better. It's time to change this however. No more being an underdog. This will be the beginning of a new age for UCR, one where we will come together once more as friends and followers of the shield and show our military prowess and might as well as our community's charm and worth.
I've stood in this position three to four times now during my six year tenure in this great clan, one step away from receiving the presidency. This time however, I don't plan on making stupid mistakes because i'm better than that. This has been a dream of mine for a long time and I hope that at this point next week, I'll be able to set in motion plans for UCR that I believe will help it succeed long term. But this isn't about me, it's about laying the foundation for a rich and exciting future for UCR. It's about restoring our culture and reputation within the clan world. And above all, it's about creating a fun and unique environment for all who choose to join this amazing group. I am extremely proud of all of you for taking a stand and attempting to continue the legacy of this community. Sure, we've had our ups and downs but as mentioned before, we hung on through the worst of times and we excelled during the best of them.
It's time to build up a strong and competent force of high ranks to prepare for this bright future. It's time to turn development into innovation. It's time to find out what we're made of boys and girls. It's time for the dawn of a new generation. Won't you be a part of it?
Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more.

Against my better judgment, in the event that you receive the presidency, I will rejoin UCR after a 3 year absence. During my time in UCR since 2009, and my time as a HR from 2010-2012, I can easily recall you being a leader, being a friend, and being an individual that exemplified the ideals and unique culture that UCR fights so hard to stand by. I believe wholeheartedly that, out of any who have ever stood in the position that you do now, you are by the far the most qualified. Despite the fact that ROBLOX is simply a game, and UCR just a silly player-made group on a silly game, you have made it more that that. You have, as so many UCR presidents before you have, made UCR into more than just a group. You've made it into a family. A place for all to belong, and for all to see the goodness inherent in all people. There's a reason that I dedicated 4 years of my life to UCR, and Kurk; you embody that reason. That reason is trust. Loyalty. Family. Friendship, and mutual respect. I saw those things in you at the start, and I see them in you even now. Unlike so many who would shy away from the challenge of the UCR presidency, you have stepped to the plate not once, not even twice, but four times. Four times over you have had a chance at the presidency. Every time until now you have failed to get it. Yet you stay. Yet you fight. Yet you believe. This is standing proof that your resolve and dedication to UCR is unwavering, and unfaltering. You ARE the shield of UCR. And any one of us would be honored to take that crest upon our hearts, with you at the forefront. You have my support. Make the legacy proud, make the history proud, and then write your own. We would all be lucky to be apart of that story. The best of luck to you. |
