I am getting a bit tired of the crowding, I would rather have a passing game with long balls and players making runs. Any ideas?
Currently I have a decent sized field
25 walkspeed per player
Should I decrease walkspeed? Make the field bigger? Any ideas? Keep it the way it is? |

Sounds like an interesting idea ^ @ nomer
Anybody else on board? The jumping pen would allow the ball to be on the ground more and have it on your stick more than just running around wildly. If someone were to jump as well, a team could get a free kick and it could be interesting because...soccer |

My main concerns are:
-I just want a fun game. I don't want people to worry about too many pens or something like that.
-My fear with decreasing the walkspeed is more halffield goals, although this was a problem only in the very very early stages of jimboball.
I feel like this can be avoided, but I don't want to ruin a good thing as well. |

no jumping pens. The ball will still be in the air if you don't allow jumps.

itll prevent crowding of 5 ppl jumping in the air to get it. it will also significantly decrease its airtime |

Personally, while it might cause more crowding, I'm a fan of jumping. It's not just hockey, it's soccer. I like the fact that you can head it, hit it midair, bring it down, etc. It would also get confusing if GKs couldn't jump, and if it could, can they only jump in the box? Can they not go out of the box? Too many scenarios for a simple, fun game |

Maybe make the net smaller to allow saves/strategic play? I think Jimboball is nograv soccer hockey, tell me if I'm wrong... |

Jumping should definitely be allowed. Given the nature of the sport, I think it should be fine. |
