Occupation: Alurine is currently apprenticed to a powerful mage in hopes of becoming one herself. The money she gets is from assisting her in her work.

Appearance (include clothing):
Alurine is a beautiful elven girl, with her delicate and soft body she has attracted the gazes of many men ( and women ) during her time in this land. Alurine has long blond hair, combed and carefully taken care of thanks to the use of many products that would assist the appearance and the health of her hair better. She has the pointy elvish ears that other elves possess, sprouting upwards through her hair. Alurine has greyish eyes and light colored skin.
The girl usually wears the standard robe. The robe itself looks expensive, many runic symbols are etched upon the white robe. Under the robe she wears common clothing. A long sleeved black shirt and long pants.
Biography (optional):
Alurine was born under a powerful and wealthy elven woman. She had quite a business, selling alcohol and many other high quality goods to the people of the kingdom of Voranmer. Though it turned out that her sisters were just late bloomers, Alurine was always the one taken on visits to parties and to visit clients since she was the only pretty one in the family at the time. One day her mother visited an old wealthy woman as she bought Alurine with her. The woman had been an old and powerful human mage, Alurine was apprenticed by the woman by her mother. It was unknown why her mother gave her to this woman, she doesn't know until this day either. Alurine stayed there almost her entire life, studying the art of magic and helping the old woman with whatever she needed.
An unfortunate event happened as Alurine was captured by soldiers for very false reasons, at the time she was doing an errand so her master didn't know about any of this. She was transported onto a ship against her own will and was then sent to go to some sort of island prison.

Starting Spells:
Shield - A temporary barrier protecting you from frontal attacks for one turn after cast. Certain powerful attacks can break through.
Magic Missile - A bolt of magical energy, fired out towards an enemy and dealing magical damage if it hits, and burning damage if it hits exposed skin.

This is a low. You've found yourself on a boat filled with the very worst of society. Murderers, thieves, liars. You've attempted to stay closest to the thieves, as the murderers and liars are far worse. While killing a man, and killing his trust, are two very different things, they both carry grave consequences in this life and the next, if there even is a next.
You've done nothing wrong, and yet, you're here. Wrong place, wrong time. Your hands are bound together with bindings created from the bark and leaves of a tree that disrupts the magical energies within the area. As such, you find yourself unable to cast any sort of spells, at least, at the moment. A guard walks by and looks down at you.
"State your name and crime," he orders. |

" ... " Should she give him a fake name? Or give him her full name so that he would know her status? She had to get back to her master. The mage needed to prove her innocence to this man. If only she could use magic... " Aelin Erineus Verelica " She responded to him, giving him a fake name instead of her real name. Deciding that giving away her real name would damage her reputation and the reputation of both her family and master. " And uh...My crime is.. " What kind of crime should she say? What did she commit? Treason? Shouldn't these guards actually know what crime she committed?

The man nods and writes something on a paper circle with a sharp pin in it. He pins the circle to the area just above your breast. Looking down at it, you see the circle reads "Treason - Execute." Looks like there's no way out for you. It's begun to rain, and lightning dances its wicked dance across the night sky.
QUEST ADDED:
Imprisoned - You've been marked for death on the prison ship. There's seemingly nothing for you to do, but die. Is this truly how your story ends?
On the other side of the ship, you see a mother comforting her daughter, who looks sickly, almost deathly ill, as the rain falls down on her forehead.
"I'm cold," the daughter says to her mother.
"It'll be okay."
"Are we going to die?"
"No dear, no... we'll be okay."
"What does 'execute' mean? Why did the man pin it onto us?"
"It doesn't mean anything dear, go to sleep."
You feel the boat begin to rock back-and-forth on the water, almost as though something is shaking it. A human male beside you looks at you.
"Looks like you'll be dead soon, Elf. Why don't you use your magic to get yourself out, hmm? Useless now, aren't you, Elf?"

Alurine looks towards the human, shaking her head. " I'm not dying here. " She murmured towards him confidently, she had to gain her magic back somehow. It seemed like she wasn't the only one that was arrested falsely. " Human. " She said to him. " Have you been arrested falsely as well? " |

The light-skinned, blonde-haired man lets out a laugh, a sense of amusement filling his blue eyes for a moment.
"Oh no no, of course not. Just about everybody on this boat deserves to be here for some reason or another. Why, do you think you shouldn't be here right now?" |

" I see. That's unfortunate. " Alurine gave out a disappointed sigh. Guess her assumptions were wrong. The elven girl pressed her head against her knees, before straightening up and turning her head towards the blonde haired man once again.
" You wouldn't happen to be a person to tell the guards that a falsely accused girl is about to escape the ship right? " |

"Oh, I wouldn't do anything like that. I'll happily tell them that you managed to drown yourself in the ocean trying to leave, though," he says, snickering. |

Alurine smiled at him. " What a kind man you are. " She didn't know how to escape, so she had to think of a plan. She wasn't strong or had any large sneaking capabilities, she needed her magic badly. She had to think this through, perhaps her new 'friend' would kindly give her some information.

"You can read, can't you babe?" he says with that snicker of his as he taps the paper circle pinned to his chest. It reads "Espionage - Torture, then execute."
"I wonder what they'll torture me with. Maybe they'll cut my ears so they're pointy and ugly like yours, Elf," he says, laughing to himself at your expense. His laughter is soon cut off by the sound of a crash and wood shattering in the lower deck of the ship, followed by the screams of prisoners and guards alike. The guards at the top deck draw their swords and head down. Almost immediately, most of the guards run back up, their heavy armor clanking loudly as they do. You see one guard flung out from the lower deck, landing into the water.
Following is the sound of a gut-curdling growl, then a loud bestial roar as a large serpent-like creature breaks through the structure of the ship, creating a hole to rise up out of. The horrid creature looks up to the rainy sky and roars once more.
The serpent is hard to make out in the darkness. But, as lightning flashes, the beast is illuminated. It has a blue, scaly body, with what appears to be a long red fin going down its spine. As part of the serpent is at the lower deck, and another part is likely in the ocean, you can only see its upper body and head. The serpent's head is home to a pair of glowing yellow eyes and a set of two blue, jagged horns. As it opens its mouth to let out another roar, you see its blue tongue and its horrid sharp teeth, stained with red. Guts and intestines drip out of its mouth onto the deck of the ship.
"Kill it!"
"Go men, let's kill us a monster!"
"Slay the beast!"
Chants and battle-cries from the guards ring out as they run towards it. The serpent lowers its head and swipes at a group of guards, knocking them back. You see your 'friend' crawl towards one of the guards and steal a dagger from him, using it to cut his bindings. He looks over at you and mouths out the words "dirty elf" as he holds the dagger by the blade and throws it straight at you.
You weren't dead. You didn't even feel any pain. As you looked at your 'friend,' you could see him smiling at you. For some reason, the smile seemed, well, friendly. He points downward, and looking down, you see the dagger has landed just between your legs. |

She grinned towards him. Standing upright and looking around her, there were some innocents on this boat and she intended to let as little die as possible. Picking up the dagger she went ahead to unbind the mother and daughter she had seen earlier. |

Using your still-bound hands, you hurried to the mother and daughter.
"Mommy! Make it go away!" the child cried, clinging to her mother and hiding her face away in the mother's bosom.
"There, there," the mother said calmly, before beginning to sing a lullaby to the child as the serpent rages.
"Sleep, sleep, sleep, my sweetie,
Sleep, sleep, sleep, my honey,
Tomorrow will be better
Today won't last forever
It's dark and it rains and it feels so low
But tomorrow will be replaced with a bright rainbow
Sleep, sleep, sleep, my sweetie
And know you'll never have to go through life solo."
As you approach, the mother looks up at you and the dagger. For a moment, there's fear in her eyes, though it quickly turns to relief as she sees you cut the bindings of her and her child.
"Thank you so much, dear," she says, clutching her child tightly, "but I don't know how much good this'll do. That serpent will..."
She stops and mouths out "kill us all," likely so her child wouldn't hear. |

" It's okay. I'll make sure that won't happen to any of us. " Alurine gives the dagger to the woman and asks her to cut down her own bindings. She needed magic for this, the falsely accused have not done anything to deserve this. |

The woman nods and cuts away your bindings, which fall to the ground. Already, you can feel the circulation of magical energies rushing through and around you. The woman drops the dagger onto the ground and hugs her child even tighter.

" Let me try and do the rest. Keep your child away from that monster and keep away from the savages around here. I'll come get you if this ship is doomed. " Alurine turned and began examining the situation. |

"Thank you, dear. Gods bless you," the woman says, standing up with her child and heading as far away from the monster as possible. Looking around, you could see most of the guards attacking the serpent to no avail. The prisoners around the ship are either trying to hide away from the monster, or have jumped off the ship and begun swimming away. You could see your friend starting to loot weapons and armor off one of the dead guards. |

Alurine hurried on to the blonde haired man ( my new bff because we are prison buddies ). He seemingly seemed like a good person to be near with when you are in danger.
" Having fun looting? " She asked him, though her eyes were still focused on the main danger. Which was the big sea monster. |

The man shakes his head.
"This one doesn't have any money on him. Did you get those bindings off? Or are you too weak to do anything without magic, Elf?" he asks with another laugh at your expense as he grabs a shortsword off the guard and examines it. |

" Got them off. What are you planning to do right now? " Alurine asked him, she waited for the right time to cast her magic. She needed information first, she planned to escape with those two people. Maybe with him as well. Who knows? |

"Gonna wait for all those guards to die, then kill the serpent, then commandeer this ship," he says, starting to take the armor off the dead guard, "you're welcome to elope with me if you want, babe. Maybe we could even find a place to file down those ears." |

The girl rolled her eyes. " Right. So just wait for the guards to die and you'll commandeer the ship? Sounds like a plan. " She worryingly looked at the mother and child and stood waited for the serpent to be damaged and kill the guards. Though she was also wary of the guards around her, they could overwhelm the serpent. |

"It's a good plan too," the man informs you, starting to don the armor of the late guard.
Looking at the serpent, you noticed several scratches on its upper body, but none of the guards have been able to get close enough to draw blood. You notice the serpent spitting out balls of water mixed with lightning at the guards. As more guards charged the serpent, even more died. It's gotten to the point now where the majority of guards are dead, and the rest have jumped ship. There's only a few people on the ship now: You, your friend, the mother and her child, five other prisoners, and one guard cowering in fear away from the serpent, who is now looking hungrily towards the mother and child. |

Alurine focused within her, conjuring her magical missile as she fired straight towards the serpent. As she did that she fired several more at it, in attempt to distract it from attacking the mother and daughter. |

You managed to fire out three magic missiles at the serpent, though without aiming, they sailed into the serpent at different points. Two hit its chest, and one grazed the side. Though, this was enough for the serpent to turn its attention to you. As its horrid eyes stare down into yours, your mind is filled with partial knowledge of this creature.
Roth'ml, Serpent of the Sea

Roth'ml brings its head back and releases a barrage of electricity and water from its man-eating mouth towards you.
"Look out!" you hear your friend call out as he jumps in front of you, clad in armor. He raises up the dead guard's shield and blocks the barrage from attacking you, though he's knocked onto his back by the sheer force of the attack.

" Human! Are you okay? " She yelled out as he was blasted, she didn't turn her eyes towards him. This snake needed to be destroyed, somehow. Maybe she could make something land on it or kill it in some other way?
She did the most simple option and fired three more shots at the face. |

As the serpent's attention was focused on you, you only had time to fire a single shot at its face, which managed to hit its eye. In a fury, Roth'ml rises up further from the hole and begins to dive towards you with its mouth wide-open.
