UserInputService function.
Description:
"Returns the currently selected GUI object. Used for gamepads."
This seriously needs to be added. It's near impossible to make a complex menu when we have to track it ourselves, because then it leads to issues when objects in a different frame are selected. |

UserInputService.SelectionChanged(UserInputType gamepadNum, object selection)
Fires when a GUI object is selected. Returns the selected object.
Instead of making us put selection events in every single GUI (inefficient), they should implement the above. |

I've never worked with scripting for other platforms, but I get what you're talking about. It makes no sense that they shouldn't have this. |

Move this to the Scripters forum. Barely anyone else on S&I scripts. |
|
|
Moderators don't check Scripters for suggestions, though. |

Nobody checks S&I either :/
You'd get a lot more support posting this on ATR or the Scripters forum. |

People on the scripters forum really don't know anything about gamepads. Every time I post a topic there about it, it gets ignored. And posting on ATR would get it deleted for no reason. |
