Well my point is not everyone is in the mood to rent an item and some people won't be able to at a certain time because of their current goals on reaching a new item. So someone close to there item is going to trade and maybe throw in their robux on a trade instead of renting an item for a while. Maybe I go out of hand with the "showing off" part. Just trying to make it sound exciting lol. |

Oh ok. Well they cant actually trade the item because its someone else. Well perhaps they could train the loan to another player as part of a trade. But they cant actually make a trade for someone. But again, if they are borrowing the item for 3 hours they could have the ability to re-loan or trade it/sell it for the remaining 3 hours. Does that answer it? |

The point of this is to prevent item scamming. You can borrow the item but you don't actually own it. It automatically goes back to the owner after the time you paid to rent it is up. There would be no possible way to steal someones item unless there's a bug that trades the item instead of lending it. But like the trade system, this would go into a test site first to work out the bugs. |

Ok well not to make excuses, but your question made it sound like can the owner trade it while its on loan. Which I already stated. I just came up with the idea so I didn't write this for weeks I did it in a few minutes. The general idea is meant to be cool im not trying to win an award for best writer of the day or anything, just trying to throw out a new idea to the community and asking for feedback. Anything anyone can add to help improve the idea or they can simply say if they like it or not. |

I wouldn't say more trade boxes, however it could be part of the trade system. Someone could loan out an item for a few hours/days in exchange for a better item or maybe robux on the trade. Or maybe that would get them the deal they wanted because the other person though it was close, but borrowing an item sparks extra interest and makes him accept it.
Sorry if this is unclear but what im saying is it might add in another box thats for lent items only which can be added to the trade system but not a permanently exchanged item. Of course its up to roblox if they'd want to just add a 5th slot for any kind of trade/loan. |

Like trading, macsed items can be traded without knowledge of it. Hopefully macs are minimal now with the trade system, but obviously if an item is macsed people will say it if they have knowledge of it. T
For the ban question though. If your saying you own say a classic fedora and loan it out then the person borrowing it is banned, you automatically get the item back when the loan is over. So if he got banned and there are 3/5 hours left on the loan. You get the item back in 3 hours still automatically along with the money you are owed. |

Again with bans/deletes. After the loan is up you automatically lose/get back the item. So if you are deleted with a lent item, the owner gets it back. If you are borrowing an item and the person lending it is deleted, you still keep it for the remaining period of time you paid for, but loose it after as you normally would.

If they tested it and made the system run on its own it would be no problem. They took a few months or so to work out the trade system. If they added this or made a completely different system obviously they would work out the bugs to make the item return. Like I said though, my plan is that it's still in your inventory, you just can't wear it until the loan is up. When appearing in someone elses inventory, it would go under like an items borrowed tab and have a timer. When its your item it could go under an items being lent out tab and have a timer. It's as simple as that. It would never actually leave your inventory, just have a timer/lock that prevents you from using it while its being lent. |
