Just a thought, but ROBLOX should basically make the usernames filtered like this: - Basically you can use anything to name your accounts that you can use to name your groups, but no spaces. More possibilities with less chance of inappropriate stuff.

you can use any character to name your groups be prepared for people impersonating by using invisible characters in there name also another problem is that characters like Ü dont show up ingame

Maybe, but only 20 characters remember? Maybe everyone starts out being able to have only one special character in their name, and when they change usernames they pay an extra 100R$ for each extra special character they want.

Back when I joined you could have spaces in your name. They took it away though because people were impersonating mods by putting spaces before and after their username. There are currently 2 buildermans. One is the real builderman david baszucki, the other is builderman with a space after it.

Also people could make their usernames swear words, someone could make their usernames swear words with each letter separated by space, or an underscore. That's also why they took away underscores, as people would make their usernames like F_*_*_ etc etc. I personally do not mind swear words as usernames, but it is against roblox's TOS and their are may yonger kids on the site, and their parents would most likely not let them join.

@badbiker Lol yeah you've got a point. We could do a username moderation system if it has anything other than letters in it, but that just slows down moderation, so I think it's best that only approved special characters and text symbols.

Back then, roblox pretty much allowed any characters in their usernames, I mean there is a user who joined in 06 (obviously) whos name is in Cyrillic. http://web.roblox.com/users/1534/profile мастер is master in Russian. They took this away before they did spaces and underscores, because many Cyrillic letters look identical to Latin (English) letters, and could easily just use it to bypass swear words.
