The PROBLEM for why Tickets have been losing their value for the past three years is that we are gradually becoming more and more reliant on ROBUX, and the necessity for tickets for tickets is being diminished as more people favor the convenience of ROBUX;
This has been PROVEN in updates such as in late 2013, where ROBUX was added as a method of bidding on advertisements, which caused a massive inflation where one ROBUX was worth 30 tickets. This update has since been reverted and was followed by an immediate deflation;
THE INFLATION HAS SINCE CONTINUED. With each passing update, the necessity for tickets has been diminished, and there are more updates to come;
This is BAD because it is diminishing the purchasing power of Non-Builder's Club members, and it is causing instability in the rates of the Trade Currency which many people rely on for an income.
My SOLUTION is to establish a purpose for each individual currency. There is no true purpose of either currency other than that ROBUX is seen as the "more valuable" currency. Establishing a purpose would encourage people to trade their money which would benefit the economy.
My idea for how to give each currency a purpose:
Make ROBUX the currency to buy ROBLOX-made items, such as hats, packages, or faces, and for trading limiteds.
Make Tickets the currency to buy user-made items, such as t-shirts, shirts, pants, advertisements, or groups. |

Can you provide your counter-argument? |

well something has to be done to lower the rates, not necessarily deflation.
so support i guess |

There are hats that cost tickets you know. If R$ is made the primary buying currency, NBC-ers would still be at a loss. |

Go with the flow bro this is how its like IRl
eery year money gets more and more useless |

We are all aware that Robux has existed for much much longer than 2013, right? Also the deflation of tickets occurred very recently when Roblox added the trade system percentage about 1 or 1 1/2 year(s) ago, making the trade no longer 1:10. From then it went down even further, coming to more recent times when the Ticket to Robux trade became based on random interval percentages plus how many trades were being made. Your idea is good, and you structured it well. Your introduction and facts did not support the better part of your argument and lead to your solution as well as some of them were false. |

The problem is tix are being generated more rapidly then robux. The solution is to dispose of tix. The only way to do so right now is ads.(Compared to robux with audio, name change, devex)
So here's the options:
Remove currency trading altogether
Award less tix for logging in and/or if someone plays your game
Add/change features to be able to use tix(Like audio uploading could cost 2000 tix instead[but no option for either currency])
Remove tix entirely
Do nothing <- current option and seems only work to a point |

Don't forget hat/gear buying. Probably the biggest Robux deleter. |
|
|
@king
Actually, all the robux goes to ROBLOX's account because every gear and hat is hosted/created by ROBLOX.
Troll detected! I repeat, Troll detected! |
|
|
Do you think ROBLOX spends anything? It's still practically gone. |
|
|
It's probably transferred to the account because they don't want to waste time coding an exception |
|
|
@MakerModelLua The problem with removing currency trading is that it is a source of income for many NBC'ers who can't trade. |

Another reason for inflation is that devs constantly pour in tix from place visits, then yank out ROBUX.

Tickets will never be deflated, because ROBUX is now a method of bidding on sponsored games. Instead of making the RoblEX rates deflate, we will actually honor the inflation. We cannot stop inflation, but we can do is to trade the tickets before it is too late. Read these for more info:

At the end of 2015, I expect the rates to be at 20 tickets per ROBUK.

Though they'll never listen to this all they really have to do is remove the price floor and for the limited hats keep them as is but if they did remove the price floor to bump up the limited items buy rate i'd be fine with that and hats all together should probably be robux only |
|
|
There's no reason to give tickets more value. In my opinion, it's great how it is. NBC have enough to survive, while they're begging for ROBUX.
I believe that it's just fine. No support.

Roblox did make a mistake and they did revert it, do you have any evidence of updates that inflated tickets beyond the point of the bidding incident? Because so far everything seems fine and deflated to me. |
|
|
Roblox should really release some decent stuff for a high amount of tix to help fight this inflation. |
|
|
I remember when the rate was 1:4 in 2008 lol |
|
|
To anozoo: ROBUX can be used to bid on something again, but this time on sponsored games. I predict the inflation will happen again by the end of the year.
