Good evening,
Recent attempts to recreate the Grand Imperium have raised questions about the validity of such attempts and the essence of Arcadia. It is the position of the Patrian people that the Arcadian state dissolved with Castellian's decree, leaving the Arcadian people aloof from TGI and the clan world. We also hold that the essence of TGI lies within its people and ethos, and that the many of the pretender states claiming to be legitimate successors of TGI are merely fraudulent imitations of a greater clan.
The identity of clans can be reduced to their membership and communal ethos, the who and why of the being of the clan itself. Individuals who have accepted the communal ethos of the clan embody its essence, which is why Patrians hold that the Arcadian essence, the ethos of TGI, lives on in the Arcadian people. Not all successor states are borne by the efforts of the Arcadian people, and some lack any connections to that body altogether.
Recently, we have seen the rise of many clans, from the Dominion of Valyria to Paul's TGI, each claiming to be the legitimate successor state to the Grand Imperium, henceforth referred to as "the Arcadian Imperium". These claims vary in legitimacy, as many are formed from the splintered community of TGI while maintaining and reinstating the Arcadian ethos (loyalty, ability, obedience) whilst others lack that altogether, exemplified by the characters that have come to recreate Arcadia in Paul's image.
The Urban Assault Forces has not, does not, nor ever will recognize Paul's TGI as the legitimate successor to the Arcadian ethos or state. Instead, we choose to recognize the clans formed by the Arcadian diaspora as the legitimate heirs to the Arcadian Imperium's legacy by virtue of their being that legacy. The members themselves are Arcadia's legacy to the clan world, and it is only fitting that clans led by their leaders should be recognized as TGI's successors.
Thank you for tuning in for this special report.
Signed,
[UAFCOM]FalseWarrior000
PS: My point has been made regardless of whether or not Paul intends to go through with his reformation of TGI. This essay merely sought to clarify UAF's position on the Arcadian legacy and what we consider legitimate claims for anyone claiming to be an Arcadian successor state. |

Remind us when we care. |

Laedere, is that all you could possibly muster? I wouldn't be surprised, but I am curious. |
I wasn't interested in allying or associating this TGI with UAF, especially after seeing what happened the last time UAF/TGI were allied back in rodger's and dystra's era. |
That's all well and good, Paul, but that doesn't really justify your claim to being the reincarnation of TGI. |
Wasn't trying to justify it, just letting you know that I do not need or want your recognition. |
It isn't TGI, it is simply a copy that will never be what it really was. I don't think Paul can create what it was in anyway based off SF's tech. |
Paul, I would love if you created an original clan though. |

Being part of the triclan alliance
TGI UAF and FC a continuous alliance through almost all the years of Arcadia up till almost the end FC dropped us. I would like to refer to false as a good ally for with good will stating his opinion towards what is a bit better than most (meepo guh).
Though paul claims he has not want to ally UAF I would suggest no one of worth would ally him in the first place.

Alright Paul, though you should've quickly noticed that this thread wasn't written with the intent of convincing you specifically. |
