Greetings, members of the clan world.
Today marks the start of a new era. You've seen clans come and go over and over again but we're different. I'd like to tell you about the creation of a new modern military group, Canton Strategic Protocol (CSP).
Starting in January 2016, we're going to be a clan different from the rest. Loyalty, respect, equality and working as a team are our clan's morals. Once we come out, we'll be a prominent force in the clan world that'll be here to stay. Get ready.
Here's a little more about the clan itself. CSP will be based off one of the four factions (CSAT) in a military tactical shooter video game known as Arma 3. So, yes this will be another military group. However, I will not be leading this one by myself. CST will be co-led between myself (Head of War), ahpricot (Head of Development), Realots (Head of Internal Affairs), and Prelorian (Head of Progression).
As some of you have already heard, our intentions are to make this new clan a superclan. With a combination of PM recruitment, VIP recruitment and extensive advertising, we're almost certain we will reach 10,000 members by January.
Why a superclan? My intentions are to attract as many inexperienced players and INTRODUCE them to this side of ROBLOX. I genuinely believe that CSP would be able to bring various amounts of non-clanners into this declining clan-world which is what we need the very most in my opinion.
Furthermore, in today's day & age, powerclans are just not stable anymore. Unless you are VAK, powerclans generally rely on "war hype" to sustain their activity. The issue with that is clans are continuing to decline every war that comes their way or simply, there are no good clans to war anymore. I don't want a clan which relies on wars for activity, I want a clan where we can remain active with or without war WHILE having a good time doing so.
Now that I've given you all a glimpse of my motives, I'll proceed to talking about some of the many plans I have for this clan. To start off, instead of having an "Entrance course" or an "Advancement course" where clans offer a promotion for doing a useless obstacle course, I plan on having a "tutorial" that Enlists would have to go through to reach the next rank. This tutorial would be a scripted game explaining the clan to them, how it functions, how it will be like, getting the uniform, learning the guns, base, stuff like that. I want to be able to grab the player's interest in the clan at that very moment. I prefer that over having my members rage & shout at their computers because they missed the last jump in an obstacle.
Moreover, I'd like to approach the topic regarding wars. I'll be taking a different approach towards them. Over the next few weeks, I'll be creating a long "War Procedure" document. Ultimately, my goal for that is to make it impossible for the enemy - or myself, to cheat in a war. It'll cover every scenario and what to do in every situation. Before going to war, the enemy would have to approve and agree to everything said in that document - for example, if a clan made any updates towards their advantage at any time WITH PROOF, they'd automatically lose the war. I don't want to be going to war frequently, but occasionally. When going to war, I'd like to use this procedure. I'll be writing it to minimize any types of foul play, which will make wars a lot more enjoyable and interesting.
One last thing about war, I'll be closing recruitment everytime we'll be going in a state of war. I do not want to test the strength of C&Gers that hop in & out of wars, rather, I'd like to test the strength of the loyal members that make up CST. This will not be something I will be forcing upon my enemy, this will just be something that I will be doing for my clan. If my opponent wants unloyal C&Gers that will leave their clan after the war to fight their wars for them then that is their choice but that is not the choice I will be making.
While we are indeed posting this announcement on C&G, we've all decided that our clan will try to stay clear from this forum. In fact, this will be the last announcement regarding CSP that will be posted here. Our future announcements, eg; declarations of war will be made somewhere else. Don't get me wrong though, there are some great C&Gers. Those great C&Gers and those who have served under me in the past are the type of members I want in this clan. I'd just prefer that we wouldn't turn into a hype clan. As said before, we'd like like to attract and gain the loyalty of newer players.
My main goal in creating this clan is to have fun. While raiding, defending and training can be fun for some time, after a period of time, it does tend to get boring. This is why I'll be doing more than just that. We'll be overloaded with tournaments and others events which will include great prizes. A spoiler on one of the events we'll be having are "Go-Kart Competitions", in the actual Arma 3 game, there are go-karts, as seen here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grWI0sJNZQM), we plan on doing something similar to that which should turn out to be fun. While we do not know how the experience will play out on ROBLOX, we will still give it a try.

Also, the Elite Division has been made and called, "Black Ops", name may change depending if people like it or not. If you'd like to be in this, tryouts for this will be done throughout the week. Only 25 of the best will be accepted.

The main reason why I've posted this thread today is to give the clan world a positive view on CSP, and the things we're going to bring to the clan world. As you can see, things do indeed look very promising. Our facilities, uniforms, guns and such are already in the making. We plan on becoming a large super clan, and essentially the strongest clan on this game. I'll be leaving this thread unlocked so you can give us any type of feedback for the clan. Feel free to do so.

-Main Group will not train with RCL, only elites. Main Group will train at other clan's forts & at a separate map that will have the same terrain style as our main base.
