Mac can't read Lua. No. Don't even suggest to change it to a diffrent scripting lauguage. They would have to redo EVERYTHING!

They really should make a seperate server for macs and microsoft i agree like it could be mac.roblox.com and what is so bad about it

@thobby120 Agreed. @Topic Roblox would make MAC Version of Roblox, but surely, most of players will play on Windows client, so: 1. Roblox can't afford it surely. 2. Almost no one will play on MAC, cause Windows is more stable, popular, and plastic (Scripting).

Just like thobby said, ROBLOX would have to redo everything to support a MAC. It's not as easy as you think. Changing the graphics, system settings and other stuff.

Ya, but if roblox were to make a mac.roblox.com they could combine the gaming accounts and everything, just when you go on that with a mac, the scripting may be different. They could copy the entire Roblox server and change the scripting, combine the 2 servers so you can see people who play on macs, and i think there would be a lot more players to play and buy bc.

@DillPhill It's called converting. I don't think there is an Windows to MAC converter. Maybe there's no need to make whole new Roblox. Maybe creator of place, will have an option to make script for MAC.

Ok Macs are made for work not games. They are very protective of viruses so they made some unavalible stuff on it. They can still get viruses though and roblox was a very big loss.

I would love for a mac to be able to play games on roblox but they can't. You can still enjoy roblox just not games.

"Mac can't read Lua." They can. A lot of ROBLOX would, except, as a whole, it would take one massive port which could take YEARS of dull and tiresome work to make it work on Macs. And then they'd have to update both instead of just one.

@varp No, they cannot read lua. Macs are made for business, not games. Therefore, it can't read lua

I've done research. Finding evidence on the official Lua site beats your flaky logic.

Even if it could it would take all roblox's time.

"Mac can't read Lua." Where in the world did you get that obsurd notion? In fact, one of the _EASIEST_ parts of the program to port to mac would be the Lua API. It doesn't EVEN REQUIRE porting, it's written in raw ANSI C, so it can be compiled on any OS or machine there's a C compiler for. The most difficult parts to port are roblox studio (it's written in a windows specific non-portable windowing system), and the system for connecting to games (it uses COM objects, which are again windows specific) PLEASE don't state things you have absolutely no clue about...

Hmmm... xLegox is known as 1337 scripter. I don't know ABSOLUTELY anything about scripting, so sorry for my posts. Now I will spread it in 2/3 of my posts to TOP 25 Poster! :3

Macs are just so inferior.... my friend is a hardcore Mac geek, and refuses to get a PC, but wants to play still. Macs need to adapt. PCs adapt and can do anything Macs can do, but Macs can't adapt and do anything a PC can do.
