To run a permanent ROBLOX Studio multiplayer you need 1000 ROBUX to pay, or you can pay 50 ROBUX every week. If you don't afford 50 ROBUX then the server will be closed. Those server are ran by ROBLOX so you need to pay them your money/ROBUX or be a supporter (be a builder club's member) and get profit.

Private Servers are free, it only requires internet connection. Those private servers are ran by you, not ROBLOX. If developers don't need ROBUX to pay servers, people would spam them with alts and that will make ROBLOX pay lots of money on servers and they would shut down Multiplayer Studios. If developers don't need ROBUX and use their own IP, there is no way to make them public.

Do you know how networking works? The server for multiplayer studio is hosted by you. Don't you know why it asks you for your ip and a working port?
