Let's be as simple as possible.
You all know that paul does not have a good reputation.
And I don't trust him that much either, as you all know I am very skeptical.
HOWEVER.
Paul has the best chance of anyone I know *aside from dystra* To restart TGI legitimately.
It does seem like he is straight up stealing TGI.
This is true, Entirely.
However. When you think about it, TGI is just a collection of aspirations, one of which is right here.
The worst thing that CAN be done to those is letting them down.
TGI certainly, absolutely did, TGI's history is a sad story of drama, incompetence and bitterness.
If that's all paul is going to take then I say let him take the pain away by all means.
As for how reputable he is?
Ok let's examine this.
Caste as far as I'm concerned had a very very strong clan in which he did very little and mostly contributed sub-par ideas too when the clan mostly ran off the shoulders of CraktheRaven and Smog and Battery, great Arcadian legends with experience and wisdom that kept us strong. Regardless of still being flawed.
Caste then LEFT, which I don't care about either way but as far as I'm concerned creating a group is no "great" service, therefore while I give him credit, it's not a lot.
Also he ended up coming back and being run by Doom and then the clan shut down with him contributing NOTHING to TGI in his return hence proving his actual INCOMPETENCE as a leader.
Toberdam... Let's just not go there.... I have not a HUGE amount against him really.. But it's just a sad chapter in TGI history that's best forgotten.

This ROCKS for BRAINS genius managed to "reform" TGI 3 times in his 2 year reign, accomplishing nothing, creating useless sub clans that did nothing but divide TGI in the worst possible ways while breaking the TGI system down to a useless lump. All the while we lost vets because of his horrid bias and dramatics.
Needless to say he promoted EGOTISTICAL, DISTURBED, and frankly just down right USELESS HRs to important positions because either he was simply playing favorites or was just downright STUPID.
The guy did not make a SINGLE good decision for the clan in his ENTIRE reign and ended up not only failing us all by not giving the clan to it's worthy inheritor DystraTala. But in fact gave it to TAINTEDDARK of all people on this gods green earth.
As a final note I may want to mention the guy ALSO went and started his own clan Haven and recruited TGI into it.
He was basically a traitor and a coward and a pig and was almost entirely responsible for the death of TGI due to the lack of foresight of Castellian who while was not an ignoramus was at least completely mentally deficient.
Leading up to that we got tainteddark.
I don't even need to go into this one. Just like tober.
Let's just forget that happened.
And you all know the rest.
Look paul MAY, and I say may because even I don't know for sure, *though I'm pretty sure* a cheater, use dirty tactics, and hop from clan to clan building them up.
But he's a STRONG leader, He's talented in leading and applied to his goals.
He may not be by any standard reputable enough to be trusted with such a responsibility.
BUT IS OUR PREVIOUS LEADERS
REALLY
ANYTHING TO JUDGE BY?
FFS you got an ignoramus, a child, a pig, and a coward.
Now you have a con man.
Frankly that sounds better then any of the previous things listed.
And on top of all that I TRUST paul to some degree regardless of previous actions.
I know he won't give up on things if we don't give up on him.
TGI has always been a flawed creature, glorious to behold from the inside perspective, tainted from the outside perspective, and dirty when you really get down to it.
Our legacy has been one of drama, spent effort, struggle and hard fought glory.
I don't want to sit around on my HANDS waiting for a new good group to crop up.
TGI has plenty of people left willing to fight for it on a moments notice.
We said it never died and it never did, It just lost more and more leaders because they were NEVER our leaders to begin with.
The true great lords of Arcadia past long ago.
That DOES NOT mean new ones cannot rise again.
Had I been given the choice, at any time, I would have picked paul as our leader for Arcadia, not as high as Battery, or as Dystra.
But I would have instantly swapped Rodger for him, Or Tober, or tainted.
TGI survived by always believing it could make things work in the end.
I hung on for three LONG years watching, struggling for and waiting for the day when we might be once again free to determine our own destiny again.
This may not be that day, that day might never come at all.
Willing, to put our swords to the curb and barrel down for something that may or may not be true at all.
To live in suspense, grasping at a dream we once held.
I could wish for nothing more desirable.
I am not a patriotic man nor do I possess a loyal bone in my body, because loyalties are lies and the ones to be loyal too are lies.
Perhaps pauls Arcadia will crash, and burn in the fires of doubt, deceit and destruction of what we hold dear once again.
But that is the path that this warrior has roamed for long times past.
For the same reason that TGI grew weak the same reason it could never win is the same reason it can STILL reach it's goals, it is because it is afraid to lose.
It was afraid to defend, to fight on fair grounds, to pit their metal against the strongest that the world had to offer.
The spirit of Arcadia was always the strongest, until it no longer believed it.
But in THIS warrior the spirit has never faded, and that is why I will never be afraid to take on the next challenge, because I have nothing left to lose, for it has all been taken from me by the cowardice of others.
All except for my Arcadian spirit.
Because the Arcadian Spirit is that of the strongest steel.
And I had to watch as every one of the Arcadians I served with FORGOT what it meant to WIN, for they had stopped winning in spirit.
Perhaps Arcadia will never again rise from the ashes of what it was, perhaps Arcadia will always be weak.
But there stands here an Arcadian of the finest caliber telling you that IT IS NOT OVER until YOU think it's over and that's when you LOSE deep down inside.
I don't believe in paul, I don't even LIKE paul.
I don't even LIKE Arcadia.
And I don't even like any of you "Arcadians"
You're so busy talking about how GREAT the legacy of TGI is you can't even see how WEAK you are deep down.
Too weak to trust in yourselves,
too weak to fight for yourselves,
too weak to face it.
I say here and now that any Arcadian that doesn't join the new Arcadia is a COWARD and a disgrace and not even WORTHY of calling themselves Arcadian.
Because any PART of you that's still Arcadian is busy sitting in some dank rotten place in your mind still believing how GREAT it is.
Arcadia is not great, it is weak, more so now then ever before.
And it's all your fault.
You can live on Believing that there was greatness before the tragedy.
That there was some POINT to the "Legacy" you defend.
Well let me, someone who guarded it far longer and more steadfastly then you, tell you something.
There WASN'T.
And so long as you just sit there with that DUMB look on your face,
there never will be.
Don't trust in paul, Don't trust in "Arcadia"
Don't even trust in yourself.
Trust in me.
Because I believed that a new and stronger Arcadia then the one I was disgusted to live in was possible.
And because I believe.
That you can too.
It is up to you Arcadia, for once in our history of dispute, and distrust, and of what is still to come.
Let me believe it again.
