So a couple hours ago I thought, "What if I revive this and present it to the RPF? Will it be popular?"
The 'this' that I am talking about is the result of a collab between gweb, vam, and myself. It involved four space-faring factions fighting each other for dominance over the sector. The sector is a cluster of stars, some with inhabited planets, planetoids, or space stations, and some not. Anyway, each faction wants to control the entire sector so they can expand out into the galaxy. They also just want to beat each other up for the heck of it.
Each faction has a very different ideology. Each one should, in the RP, have a different style of action. So, this will be a wide-reaching RP that will constantly change its flow. At one point, one side may be winning the war, but then one side makes an attack and captures a strategic point that leads to them gaining enough resources to turn the tide in their favor. I have a map set up, which everyone will be able to see and make suggestions for.
Each faction will have a faction leader, someone who makes strategic decisions for the faction as a whole. They should rarely go into battle, instead finding their most effective sub-commanders and posting them to important battles. However, when a faction leader is in battle, they will get first pick of everything and can even direct any sub-commanders with them. A faction leader has to keep the overall strategic situation in mind, and should *not* abuse their power, lest they be removed from leadership by the Space-God(aka me), and replaced by a better leader.
Anyway, if there's interest I'll make a signups thing. I'm trying to figure out whether to stick to the original plan in the RP's original form, as a real-time battle-based piratepad/titanpad RP, or do something new with the forums so we don't have to have everyone gathered for everything to work. |

Polish it some more. Idea needs refining -- and we've seen something similar to this before. Not that it should be concerned since this sort is a little underused. But not by much. |

Not to be an attention seeker or anything, even though I am, but
I'm trying to decide whether we should use just like 6 different "normal" pads for the thing, or try for a private group sub-domain where we can put everything nice and tidy. It would solve a lot of problems, I think. |

Okay, so here's the plan.
dominance[DOT]titan()pad[DOT]com is the place it'll be at. Just make an account there and PM me here on roblox your username for the place, or post it in this thread or the signup thread that I'll make later, and I'll let you in. No note on roblox = no acceptance, because I'm on paranoid mode about trolls trying to get in and mess everything up.
I must warn you all that your e.mail that you use to sign up will be visible to the admins, so I would advise making a one-use e.mail for this site, or use a secondary that you use for things like this. But I can't see IPs, or anything else besides your username and e.mail address that you used for the site.
Currently, I've made a short intro, guide, and rules on one pad that will be open to all members. I'll be creating four more pads, one for each faction, that will be p-w.ord protected and only people who are in that faction will be able to get in. There'll be at least one more pad, possibly two, which will be a battle pad.
For those of you who don't want to take time out of roblox, I'm making a system to make doing things 1-2 times a day on the RP feasible. Basically, you'll organize, make a strategy, your opponent will do the same, then I'll do the entire battle using logic and a little bit of dice rolling. Then you come back on and see who won, organize the mop-up, then I do more stuff and the entire battle is done.
I'll also be choosing a couple trustworthy people to be admins along with me. They'll be responsible for enforcing the rules and handling battles alongside me. |

Oh silly mod-bots, warning me for posting stuff :P
Anyway, after a little confusion and looking on google for help, I found that an admin has to make the account and send it to a user's e.mail. There's a temporary p-word and such attached, that the user changes on their first login.
Anyway, yeah, I guess I'll need an email from everyone who wants to sign up in a PM. The good news is that it'll be confirmed to be you right from the start, so I can relax my paranoia a bit. |
