Houston had a impressive season and here's why: Beat down a SEC team Vanderbilt 34-0 (I understand it's Vandy, but they played good games against Ole Miss and Florida) Beat a great Memphis team with a great QB, and also beat Ole Miss (who beat Alabama) with a pretty good beat down. Beat a good Navy who only lost to ND Just beat a great Temple team who should've beat ND. And as I write this... WHY DOES NOTRE DAME PLAY AMERICAN CONFERENCE SCHOOLS BUT NOT U of M AND MSU?!?!? It would be interesting to see Houston, Temple or Memphis against the big guys.

1) Notre Dame is overrated 2) Ole Miss is overrated 3) Anything can happen in any conference game. The SEC is better than the AAC. Lol.

If Ole Miss is overrated why did they beat Alabama on the road? Hard to call them overrated.

"If Ole Miss is overrated why did they beat Alabama on the road?" They did lose to Arkansas on a freaking 4th and 25 at home so. "if i find out that razor teeth has been making fun of me, i'll turn him into cat food and lots of it"

that Arkansas game wouldn't lead me to call Ole Miss overrated however.

"If Ole Miss is overrated why did they beat Alabama on the road?" >>>"3) Anything can happen in any conference game."<<< Why did Texas beat Oklahoma (in a neutral site, sure) and Baylor on the road? Don't give me the "OH IT'S A RIVALRY" crap because Ole Miss-Alabama is also a rivalry and don't give me the "OH, BAYLOR WAS ON THEIR 4TH STRING QB" crap because Baylor had several opportunities to beat >>>TEXAS<<<

Seriously? WHAT TEAM IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL WOULD WIN WITH A FOURTH STRING QUARTERBACK? PROBABLY NONE.

It's a shame??? LOL If they had unbeaten there MIGHT be a case, but even then almost all of their games couldn't compare to the games in a power 5 conference, and they didn't schedule anyone impressive out of conference except Louisville. Look at BYU for an example of a group of 5 schedule that has a decent chance of making it into the playoffs if they run the table

Texas beat Oklahoma because Bob Stoops can't coach a rivalry game for crap and Arkansas is actually a good team, they just don't know how to begin a season

It is a shame. Obviously they had a hiccup and don't deserve to make it, but it's a damn shame that we can't see if those conferences are for real.

"Bob Stoops can't coach a rivalry game for crap" I mean, Oklahoma beat Oklahoma State convincingly in Stillwater lol and don't give me any Oklahoma State crap because Oklahoma State beat TCU with Trevone Boykin and Baylor with an actual quarterback

Ok State had won the rivalry game 3 of the past 4 years before this year lol and 2 of the 3 times ok state was the underdog, the other time being the year ok state won the fiesta bowl

I don't mean to offend you because I know you are a Texas fan but I think the Big 12 is just a big crap pile that shot themselves in the foot and really has a lot of equal teams in it, none of which are better than what other conferences have to offer.

true but josh doctson was also absent for a majority of the game

"none of which are better than what other conferences have to offer." If Oklahoma gets to the national championship (and even wins the national championship) would you change your opinion? @extemmas They still have Kolby Listenbee. Because of how much they throw to Josh Doctson, it wouldn't make much difference with the same go-to tactic of throwing it to Listenbee

"the Big 12 is just a big crap pile that shot themselves in the foot and really has a lot of equal teams in it, none of which are better than what other conferences have to offer." Did you mean: Pac-12 "if i find out that razor teeth has been making fun of me, i'll turn him into cat food and lots of it"

"none of which are better than what other conferences have to offer." If Oklahoma gets to the national championship (and even wins the national championship) would you change your opinion? Yes, but I don't think the other 3 teams in the playoffs are CFB's best anyways.

Marshall was undefeated in 2014, but does that make them eligible to face powerhouses? No. Just because Houston beat a team that 'should have beat ND' doesn't instantly make it that they should be in the playoff.

Houston did beat a team who beat Ole Miss who beat Alabama I know you shouldn't get into it like that, but Houston isn't Marshall.
